What they have not considered is what if people have more than one current account like I do. I will not pay 2 sets of charges so would close one account, thus pulling money out of that bank. Yep - sone great help to that bank that is. I like to bank with more than one for safety (computer crash, bank problems cause delay in getting money etc). a silly arrogant power hungry little man! Please don't listen to him!

No way. If the bank has my money they should be paying me.
Once again the banksters are trying to fleece their customers.
Our banks have too much power, too much money (ours), and too much influence.
They are a monopoly and a cartel and our government is bought and paid for by them.

I don't see why I should be charged for lending the bank my money. I am happy to have a free current account and to be charged if I have an overdraft or go overdrawn. There was no answer that allowed me to say this so I went for the one about customer service.
