A tough choice. I was quite excited for a new - NEW!!! - van halen album, and it was better than it really should've been. Eddie still has it, and Dave manages his loss of ability well. But we're forgetting that Rush is still at the forefront, being more relevant and popular than perhaps ever before. And they're on top of their game. That's not to say these other bands haven't put out good albums (fingers crossed for Aerosmith!!!), but we KNOW the new Rush album WILL be excellent.
Van Halen being my favorite band for over 30 years, A Different Kind Of Truth of course! But anything new from Sabbath (with Ozzy) is big! Wasn't on the list but also lookin forward to the new Kiss album - Monster!
