In a typical week, how often are you sitting down with your family (or other members of your household) for a meal?

As our busy household of four children and two adults grappled to find an uninterrupted hour of family dinner time, we eliminated a few distractions. The first to go was the television. After 23 years of zero TV in the home, we have no regrets. Our kids learned to be healthy adults who find the act of preparing and sharing healthy meals for themselves and their families as an opportunity to enjoy life together. As my Mother always said, " a family shouldn't eat together, they should dine together, and there is a difference ". In my book, those are words of wisdom we try to live by daily.
