Hands down, Jessica Sanchez has the best vocals in the competition. She lost because most of the people who appreciates her talent did not vote for her believing that only talent counts in winning the competition. While the younger teens who like Phillip spent their time and money showing their support to the handsome and talented Phillip which catapulted him to #1. Time will tell whether Jessica can match or overtake the success of Phillip later on.

I agree with Noel. How many drummers were on Phillip's performance to camouflage his voice. Did you hear Randy saying that he likes the drummers.....and not the song! The verdict has been cooked from the last 3 contestants!

No, She did not lose for that reason. She lost because it was obvious that the three musketeers (the black, the white, and the sexy latina) all slew her chances in the final, while heaping praises to the other contestant. And, may I add this: Seems too that the producers and staff of the show purposely made her presentation (stage and accompaniments) look inferior.
