I think the Zen master will be back again but unfortunitly with a new team, mainly because I don’t see how he wouldn’t want to be back in the eye of the storm and the thrill of being back in the playoffs and the lime light of being a Celebrity rockstar and adding another championship or 2 to the tally.
I could only wish Jeanie could find a way to get him back to the Lakers and get back on with what he didn’t finish here last year.

He'd be crazy to come back. He's allready the 'John Wooden' of the NBA. What is left to prove. His back would not benefiit from all of the travel either. He would have to baby-sit spoiled athletes again. Although noone was better at that than Phil. He was an incredible motivater. It's still amazing to me that players in a league where the average salary is 5 million are not motivated. I think he should just relax, marry his girlfriend, and just enjoy his remaining years. I'm sure money is not an issue. But he could always do his silly commercials if he needs some extra dough. I think the 'zen master' is good. Everybody who wants him back are being selfish because the Lakers are only mediocre now.

I think it would be fantastic if Phil Jackson would come back to the Lakers as a Consultant.
Brian Shaw could come back and be an Assistant Coach and coach the Triangle with Phils' help (when needed). Coach Brown could deal with the Defense. Most of the squad already know the Triangle Offense. Which is a plus. While I am wishing, lets bring LaMar Odom and Down Town Shannon Brown back. Which shouldn't cost that much. VL

Brian Shaw could come back and be an Assistant Coach and coach the Triangle with Phils' help (when needed). Coach Brown could deal with the Defense. Most of the squad already know the Triangle Offense. Which is a plus. While I am wishing, lets bring LaMar Odom and Down Town Shannon Brown back. Which cost that much. VL
