A government checking system is in place. Before a temporary foreign worker is given approval for a work permit. The prospective employer should show that it had satisfied the prerequisite of advertising on an online job site and a widely circulated newspaper. These paperwork evidence is showed to the Human Resource Canada before the employer is allowed to import foreign workers.

Why is everyone jumping on the EI recipients who have worked and paid for this 'insurance'? How about putting some of those 19 year old lazy good for nothings, the ones your tax dollars are supporting 100% through welfare, out to work? What about the able-bodied welfare recipients who have been sucking on the tit of the tax paying public for their whole lives and are now breeding another generation? I guess it's just not politically correct to make a negative comment on this section of society. There are jobs available - welfare should be a last resort and not a way of life for generations.

The employer has no choice, people refuse the work because EI pays so well and they can work under the table to boot. (not to mention an eternal vacation funded by EI)
