If they are indeed breaking up this is just another example of the writers and producers inability to look into the past and really research characters. If they had done so, they'd realize how out of character the break up would be.
Kayla has been around for months tending bar, tidying up and ordering lettuce. She's a DOCTOR. Use that plus the extraordinary talents of MBE to really develop a story that is character driven. Not split, hookup, split, hookup. This is why your show is so incredibly boring. You don't invest in it.

I dont like what there doing to my favorite show!! The best ones r leaving? Come on? Can't you get them to stay on? Were is this going?get the old writers back !! I have been watching this show for over 32 years!!!!
