For years I've gone to Swiss Ave. to watch the race. I had visions of running it years ago, but have never been more than a spectator. I'm not so sorry to see the White Rock name go, but am concerned that the neighborhood atmosphere may go with it. But I suppose there's a larger picture, and hope it works as planned. Honestly, a large factor in my acceptance of the name change is the fact that I love the logo, and compliment the artist and those who selected the design (which, in my view, is better than the bridge itself).

I'm sure most of us will take our own private revenge by continuing to refer to it as White Rock until our dying breath.
