Dear Party of Lincoln: I did see that whole part of Obama's news conference. He explained that jobs have steadily increased in the private sector, and corporate profits are up. But states and local govts. have cut jobs big time; he gave the number. And he urged Congress to act to help the states rehire those teachers, cops, & firefighters. Then he explained the job loss in the Construction industry; he pleaded with congress to pass the Transportation bill-I think he said it will soon be ready for a vote. I know the Repubs watered it down & made it for only 2 years, I think. And of course the Housing collapse caused the loss of so many Construction jobs. Again, Obama pleaded with Congress to pass the bills he has proposed to help that. "The race cared"? When you look at the Lilly Ledbetter vote-which should have been unanimous, but Repubs almost voted unanimously against it, FOUR days? after Obama's inauguration, this white old lady really has to wonder. Then I saw Sam Skinner, former CEO of Com Ed, Bush I's chief of staff, and really rabid Republican, stand at Obama's side when he proposed his plan to repair and renovate Ike's interstate Highways. Sam & Norman Mineta had worked hard to propose their own plan. Obama's plan was very similar to theirs. But Mitch McConnell said "NO". Why? It's been 3 years of Repubs totally blocking and/or reversing, sensible bills that were often their own proposals. Obama yesterday just asked them to pass what was possible, and good for the country. But "AHA" - Obama gave Repubs a soundbite! And our "mob media" is off!

No matter what President Obama say or do they I mean conservative white people is going to give him a hard time because he is black. All I have seen from Obama is trying to move the country froward but in reality they are saying we are not going to take orders or listen to this nigger!
