Went to my nephew's pre-school graduation last week. There were about 100 kids (at $20 a pop for cap and gown) and each kid had a speaking part and each class had a song. A little girl burst into tears at her line. Another little boy just shook his head no when they passed him the mic. My nephew literally dropped the mic and refused to say shit! Needless to say, I think the kids need to be able to pronounce the word graduation properly before they throw them one!

man they got pre-school graduations out here in TN, Kindergaten is atleast school. As a kid we had Elementary, Jr High & High School graduation, this Pre K and Kindergarten ish is crazy.

I do admit, though, that my dad did spend a grip on my graduation dress (even had nice shoes and hosiery) from a boutique....but we were able to return in the next day and get like 2-3 new outfits. Lol!! Much love to my pops for his support and ingenuity. RIP.

I say no, because I'm trying to keep it old school with the usual pre-school/head start graduation and then on to Kindergarten through 5th grade with the next graduation occurring at the end of 5th grade.

My little guy is going to the party for the preschoolers that are moving up on Saturday. They aren't getting fancy so I think its valid. No parent should have to spend extra money on anything daycare related, though. I don't know what its like down state side but up here in Canada we are paying four times our mortgage payment each month for two kids in daycare. This bullshit is ridiculous.
Hell yeah, it might be the only time some of these lil bastards get close to a diploma...

My son is graduating from PRESCHOOL 6/22 which I believe is valid I had one when I was in preschool don't remember it but the main difference between my graduation and his...$20 and imaaagination! We had to use our blood sweat and tears to make our t-shirt gowns and cardboard caps. These little rug rats are getting store bought caps and gowns and they got to pick the color! I'm trying to scope out right now to find out which of his rich white classmates is having the after party so my son can get some name brand reparations juice boxes. So yeah overall preschool graduation is ok because going from a preschool to an elementary school is a big transition but not for no stinking Kindergarten to some stinking 1st grade that's just whack!
