Should the Pacquiao-Bradley fight be investigated?

Seems there will be no investigation. NAC has decided to let it die down and hope people forget . I thought most of the crooks had gotten out of Boxing, but seems I was wrong, as there is no way those two Judges could be that ignorant. There had to be money involved. The NAC covering for them is pathetic, and just an attempt to hide the corruption. Fu@k the NAC.

The only words that come to mind are "Simply Outrageous"! Pacquiao was a victim, the sport has been irreversibly scarred, and the results were criminal! I am an African American male, so I have experienced my share of unwelcome injustice! However, as a fan of boxing, I have never seen such a criminal act transpire in such a public forum. PPV users should sign a potetion to file a lawsuit against the Nevada commission that allowed this travesty to go unpunished! This decision should be immediately over-turned, judges should be investigated and sent to prison when found guilty of fraudulent behavior, and all boxing fans (including Floyd Mayweather) should boycott boxing!!

  • evelyn mircado - 12 years ago

I think the judges can't see manny during the fight they can only see Bradley. The judges should know better how to score properly..How can they give the tittle to the loser fighter? Shame on them.

    Mz
Manny won fairly and squarely with no doubt

  • skeete44 - 12 years ago

If those two judges had something to do with a fix, they should be disbarred. This type of stuff use to happen and it shouldn't start again. Judges gamble like every other human beibg and if they wanted a quick payday, bet on horses. It's obvious that something happened and the two judges should fess up to what they did. We all like Pacman but that's not the issue here. He was robbed by these two judges and the whole world saw it happen. If the judges can't do their jobs fairly, kick them out of the game, plain and simple. I use to box myself and where did those judges see where Bradley bet Pacman, where?

  • gose - 12 years ago

Fixed fight! Quick cash for few but this time, it was too OBVIOUS ! That's robbery caught in tape !

  • jm1409 - 12 years ago

Hell yeah it should be investigated. When you have Manny's arch nemesis Floyd Jr & Sr say Manny won the fight, when you see African Americans on YouTube saying Manny won the fight, when you see Hollywood/celebrities say Manny won the fight, when you see former boxing champs/greats say Manny won the fight, when you see the shocked faces of the Bradley camp after they robbed the title, when you hear the WORLD say Manny won the fight......then FUCK YEAH, IT NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED!!

  • metasher - 12 years ago

From my perspective Pacman won the fight because he hit Bradley with more power shots. Bradley won the "game" because he was "touched" Pacman more. The judges only care about the "touches".

  • Erika - 12 years ago

It's so clear that pacquaio won. He beat Bradley in every single aspect of boxing. The fact that those 2 judges really thought Bradley won is frankly rediculas. I don't think a rematch should happen because it's clear pacquaio won & is the better fighter so he should move on to a bigger an better opponent.

Those two judges must have been in a Twilight Zone! It's incredible how wrong they were in scoring the fight. Manny Pacquaio is a top caliber boxer; Bradley needs to man up and give up the belt. There should be an investigation.

  • leen s - 12 years ago

If they want to keep the boxing fans to continue purchasing ppv, they should investigate this match. The decision has clearly caused rage, anger, and disappointment. There will be a larger loss (money) if they don't investigate than the money they made from betting (obviously was fixed for this reason) manny is the champ and Bradley is a sore loser acting like he really won LMAO . You'd gain more respect from boxing fans if you admit your loss not walking around like an arrogant fuck talking about a rematch and throwing "I told you so" statement s. You just look like a fool and a jackass. Pacman All day baby p4p king.

  • FrankG - 12 years ago

A miscarriage of justice! I've never seen so called "judges" who are so dumb and yet so
arrogant! I say my fellow americans, "boycott boxing and Las Vegas and may the so-called "judges" burn in hell!

  • Jake 1124 - 12 years ago

When a decision leaves a stench as overpowering as the decision for the Pacquiao/Bradley fight, the responsible regulatory agencies MUST perform a thorough investigation. They cannot simply walk away and say oh well it's just another boxing match. The source of the stench must be indentified and to the degree possible, rectified if only to reassure the public of the supposed integrity of the sport. The enraged public must have some reasonable recourse to such an injustice as this. There is an unprecedented amount of public pressure to do a thorough investigation.

  • madtown559 - 12 years ago

The WBO need to take action and once and for all make a stand to all the corrupt judges , make examples out of them .That way our boxers will be protected from this unmoral snakes!

  • Mad Mike - 12 years ago

This whole debacle does nothing but further promote the decline of boxing. This isn't TNA, WWF, WWE...or whatever that crap is called now. This is supposed to be a real sport, where a winner is clearly decided, and politics play no part. There is something so diabolical about this decision that you can't blame it on poor or unqualified judges. I've watched a lot of boxing throughout the years, I can't claim I'm qualified to judge, but I can tell you with one hundered percent certainty that Bradley did not win that fight. I saw the one-sided ring control. I have an obsessive compulsive habit of counting blows which Manny administered more of. I watched Bradley get out-classed in the ring and there is no disputing that. I'm not taking anything away from his effort but it just wasn't enough to out-box Pacquiao. I know what I saw, I know what you all saw, but I can't for the life of me figure out what fight the judges were watching.

  • Withrow - 12 years ago

Could Pacquiao's loss be related to his defiant stand against gay marriages? Hmmmmm.

  • lucille - 12 years ago

This was so unfair, why televise that kind of drama.....Manny won fair and square. He is such a religious person and have persons who follow him and his beliefs. Manny is a class act, thank God, what does this make Bradley. He knows he did not WIN the fight. Man up and tell the truth..Money is the root of all evil.

Who knows what will come out of an investigation. The whole world witnessed who really won the fight while the 2 for whatever reason witnessed it otherwise. Even TB's reaction right after the annoucement was obvious that he himself was stunned that the said "victory" went to his favor. Were the 2 judges waiting for a KO by MP and perhaps this would've convinced their scoring to the obvious winner. But this fight didn't need a KO. It was lopsided that one need not to be an expert judge in boxing to see and score the obvious winner. Just like in any other sports, boxing is no exception for bribery. If rematched was to happen, MP will step in the ring and defy to TB and the 2 judges who and what the real deal is. Didn't TB sat or stood next to a poster 1 or 2 months ago posting PAC/BRAD2?

MP's questionable level of performance due to his age and other resposibilities outside boxing was surprisingly the opposite

A SCAM to the fullest !!!

  • bobby0924 - 12 years ago

it was a crazy act to the fullest.. it was so obvious that something fishy happened with the decision...it should be investigated right away ... and fixed this mess... this should not happened again... people who watched the fight are being fooled in front of their face considering they paid for it.. and they expect us to believe them ... what the fu***.

Only retard people will believe this scam.

The judges decision was the worst in boxing history and worst of all Bradley is parading around that victory and belt like he actually earned it Timothy Bradley is no champion he is a gutless human being who has no integrity or honor he refuses to admit defeat he had the nerve to say "I did it I told you i would shock the world" no tiny tim you didnt the judges did and handed you that victory and belt on a silver platter as for as pacman you are a true champion and the greatest P4P fighter in the world this does not change that the world is behind you we know what we saw and we know who our winner and champion is youve done alot for this sport and you deserve better than that as for you tiny tim which is what i will refer to you as for now on because of the tiny heart you have you will never amount to the great Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao you will always be a sorry little footnote on Pacmans epic ass

    Jimmy - 12 hours ago

"Someone should ask the two Judges that stole the fight from Manny if they are Gay or if they are supporters of same sex marriage. Could be this was intentional to get back at Manny for his CORRECT stance on same sex marriage."

This statement by Jimmy isnt as crazy as some might think C.J. Ross is bi sexual

hahahahahha bullshit fight...they want fans to pay more Money! Imagine if Pac man won? Every other fight is pretty boring so these assholes want to create drama and bad blood so that people can tune in again.. Retire Pac man, you got nothing to prove! You pretty much cleaned out every division :) No more Boxing for me! its back to UFC! Oh btw boxing is in trouble when PAC leaves hahaha.

  • Mike D - 12 years ago

Manny will retire as a legend in this sport that will mark the end of boxing because of obvious corruption in Las Vegas. Boxing needs a new rockstar after Manny for obvious reasons, so the new young guy comes in...what a joke.

Manny is the real "Rocky" story. He came out fighting out of poverty to become a respectable Congressman. Imagine that....WoW! My hats off to you Manny Pacquiao. You're the real champ.

  • Fish - 12 years ago

A moron can see that was completely fixed and as such merely a criminal event featuring athletes, NOT a professional sports activity. No more legitimate then a back room cockfight. Too bad HBO had to broadcast this criminal controlled event. Nothing about this was real, just a staged event with athletes used by criminals to steal money from betting. HBO should stay away from this illegal garbage and pursue real sports events. HBO should also reimburse everyone who paid to watch this garbage event since people paid to see a real sporting event.

  • MxF - 12 years ago

It clearly shows that pacquiao landed more punch base on the compu box and it clearly show that the fans know who really won the fight.. boxing is dying these day's because of the blind fucking judges. boxing is becoming WWF to me i rather watch UFC than watching boxing.

  • superbig b - 12 years ago

rematch , how can they call for a rematch when the pac man was robbed. the wbo needs to over turn the decision , boxing fans do not want to spend there hard earned money on trash , i for one will not spend my money on any top rank , or wbo fighters if they do not do any thing about this decision . i heard teddy atlas saying pac mans contract was running out , and may be would not keep fighting for bob arum , so bob arum does a don king move , if he does not have the champ he will make his own paper champ with tim bradley by putting the fix in . im not saying this is true but it makes you go hmmmm . lets be real people , bob arum with top rank are big time toprank can say this and that , but at the end of the day nothing will be done . top rank = top zero i call for the people to boycott there boxing promotions , boycott the WBO and let them know who really runs boxing . boycott pay per view , boycott HBO , SHOWTIME , ESPN any time a TOP RANK promotion that is on . boxing is a dying sport and the three judges just nailed the coffin shut

  • boxing fan 897 - 12 years ago

this fight was complete bullshit pacquiao was robbed. I say that he through and landed the most punches by a landslide. Pacquiao beat the shit out of Bradley, even though the judges say he won they clearly were watching a different fight. Bradley may say he won and pacquiao's punches didn't hurt him, but his legs didn't lie he was in pain from pacquiao. Throughout the fight pacquiao was a sure guarented winner, I'm saying pacquiao won 11 out of 12 rounds.

  • AARON DEAVOR - 12 years ago

THIS MAN BRADLEY TALKED ALL THAT SHIT THAT HES GUNA BEAT PACMAN BUT HE WAS THROWING CRAZY BLOWS MISSIN PUNCHES MANNY CLEARLY FUCKED HIM UP CANT EVEN BE A MAN AND ADMIT YOUR DEFEAT UR GARBAGE I HOPE THEY HAVE THE REMATCH AND MANNY LETS LOOSE ON YOU WORSETHEN HE DID THE LAST FIGHT BRADLEY IS NOT TRUE FIGHTER

  • Melanie Church - 12 years ago

Yes, it should be investigated. The decision was so bad that is hard to believe the judges could make this bad of a mistake. It was not even a close fight. The viewers of the entire world believe something was bad wrong here. Just look at the various posts appears that 98% of the sport polls believe that Pacman won!

  • Carloine Rodriguez - 12 years ago

I'm a avid fan of the sweet science but because of that so ridiculous/wrongful decision, I'm having second thoughts and now wanting to shift instead to UCF/MMA
where the fights are more interesting and pretty transparent. That fight was so obvious a Pacman
win, he won so convincingly and dominantly... in lopsided fashion. For the sake of boxing, which is sadly, a dwindling sports, can all the fight fans in the world raise and take up arms and be one in protesting the fight results before the NSAC or some higher U.S. authorities to reverse the decision or declare it a no-contest? I enjoin every fight fans to join and vote for the sake of this sport!

  • uelcam - 12 years ago

Change has to be made, & this is the right time to do it. We, "THE BOXING FANS" ,,,,, are shouting for BIG """" C H A N G E'''''....... It has to be NOW........

  • Tuffy - 12 years ago

Manny should take the rematch than dance bibb and bobb all twelve rounds hug and run around, take the money and run, see how the boxing commision like this kind of pay-back. But kowing how you love the sport and is a real man and earned everyone of your fights, I know you will be satisfied win or loose. Bradley that' another story in the naked city among honest men and sportsman. The pay day for the reffs was damm good. Now can they live with the guilt. For I this is the last of Boxing I will pay for . MANNY YOU GOT ROBBED, and so did I.

  • Steve - 12 years ago

I am totally amazed how incompetent or possibily corrupt this decision was. It was not a close fight at all Bradley maybe won one round. Pacman was least hurt of any boxing match I can remember in many years. It was so bad. I really wonder if corruption was involved- just think about it? Pretty sad a wonderful gentleman as Pac man is got done dirty!!!! It was a digusting judging decision possibily the worst in history. I am an American born citizen that saw Pacman overwhelming victorious! A sad day in sports history that nothing is or will possibily be done- A DISGRACE!

  • WiL - 12 years ago

I just cancelled my vacation to Vegas. For sure I'm gonna get ripped off. "Yo Bradley, be a man and admit your first lost".

  • Aaron Carlson - 12 years ago

Keith Kizer and the NSAC should be lambasted!!! THis was not a close fight. And Bradley should man up and give back the belt; it will be good for his karma. If nothing good comes out of this, a lot of people, myself included, will not be paying for a sport that doesn't honor its winners. There has to be an investigation:
    www.change.org/petition
There are already 20,000+ signatures- just type in Pacquiao and sign it

  • Dreaminin hawaii - 12 years ago

Those judges are basically saying that we did not see what they saw. Was there a camera on their side that the NS Commission can review? the more NSC shrug off this incident, the more they will loose their credibility. So they have to do an investigation on this sad incident.

  • TON2 Fajardo - 12 years ago

THE FIGHT RESULTS SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED. BOXING IS AN IMPORTANT SPORT. INTEGRITY PLUS THE GREAT PLAYERS ARE WHAT MAKES A SPORT EXCITING AND MARKETABLE. LIKE ANY OTHER SPORTS, THE IMPORTANCE OF BOXING IN THE WORLD OF SPORT IS EVEN MORE SUSTAINED BY THE GROWING EXCITEMENT AND MARKETABILITY THAT IT PROJECTS. INVESTIGATION OF WHAT HAPPENED IN THAT PACQUIAO FIGHT WILL HELP DEFEND THE INTEGRITY, MARKETABILITY AND EXCITEMENT IN THE SPORT OF BOXING. IT WOULD ALSO GIVE THE SPORT THE EVOLUTION IT NEEDS TO KEEP IT DYNAMIC AND COMPETITIVE IN GENERATIONS TO COME. INVESTIGATION AND HOLDING SOME PEOPLE ACCOUNTABLE ARE A MUST TO MAKE.

  • Ian Johnston - 12 years ago

I have been in the boxing community for 40 years. Myself and two other judges (all of whom have judged hundreds of fights), all had Pacquiao well ahead on the cards. The three of us completely understand the criteria that Ford tried explaining to everyone in his interview with Yahoo. We also understand that the viewers only had a single angle to view the fight, but the fight was not that close (especially when the first criteria is damage and you consider all the left hands that Bradley ate). This “decision” is a disgrace to boxing and Keith Kizer’s decision to not investigate the judges and decision only escalates the issue from incompetent to criminal. Shame on all those involved for harming the reputation of such a wonderful sport!

  • nashu - 12 years ago

There shouldn't be a rematch. It has to be investigated, yes, and revise the results. Where is the justice not only for Pacquiao but to the people who have watched the game and knows who really won? Bradley should resign and hand over Pacquiao's title! if this doesn't happen, the boxing federation will die soon. WHERE IS JUSTICE???

  • TSR - 12 years ago

Boxing decisions started going bad with Ali. For example, I thought Ken Norton beat him in all 3 of their fights. Ali started the trend where a boxer could throw a flurry of punches with no harm in them and win a round over a slugger who could damage with one punch simply because more punches became defined as being more aggressive. Thus if a fight went 12 rounds and twinkle toes won 7 of them bye throw a plethora of non-damaging jabs but was
mauled in the rest of the rounds, he'd win. It all comes down to the very definition of boxing itself- is agression determined by number of punches thrown or the damage inflicted by the punches. Also if as in this fight with a 10 point must scoring system, if a boxer has a dominant round, he should be credited with a 10-8 or 10-7 (if a serious knockdown occurs) round. Too often real dominant rounds are scored as 10-9. Of course a guy who is a lightweight puncher and wins with flurries should always get a 10-9 round decision. In this way the slugger who brutalizes the other fighter can still win the fight even though he may win less rounds. Finally if the fighter smells a fix, knock the bum out!

  • tpersons - 12 years ago

I totally agree with all of you, but mostly I am ashamed to be american right now. The Phills have problems with pay -offs, and love america for its justice. How on earth can we the people support such trash. I will not pay for another Vages game. And shame on the boxing folks who allow such crap to prevail. Bravo Manny for another great fight! Gee this really pisses me off! This is not just one bad call people, this is a whole 12 rounds..........T

  • Bobby - 12 years ago

An investigation,..........? Thats an understatement! This was so rediculous, any1 in there rite mind with real working eyeballs knows who really won. I cant believe that in todays day & age we still have this corruption in a sport that so many people are passionate about. It sucks, not just for us fans and viewers who pay our hard earned money to watch but also for the athletes themselves. Something has to be done, this s%#t has to change already. It doesnt take a rocket scientist, or a judge 2 see who won. As long as u can see and have common f#@n sense its a no brainer! To all u peeps who keep bringing up the marquez fight...STOP! That doesnt compare to this 1 bit. That was an actual close fight, close enough to the point where u shuld b able 2 except the outcome knowing that when its a championship fight and its that close..it will more than likely go to the champ! so get over it alredy! This fight with Bradley was not close at all. Wasnt even a fair fight! Cmon, wake up....this was boxing corruption at its finest and those judges shuld b banned from boxing! Or just judging anything period! Bradley is a good boxer, im not tryn 2 take no credit from him at all, i think hes got a good head on his shoulders and has alot of potential. But the reality is, he was outboxed by a big margin! The most u can give him is 3 rounds tops!, and thats being generous! When some1 who is just given a BS decision says i have 2 watch the tape 2 c if i really won, then that says it all. u could c it in his face before the decision and in his corners face. they were all dissappointed and down knowing they were badly defeated. If u won and u know u won....u shouldnt have 2 go back and watch 2 clarify it! Thats just retarded! People all over the world arent upset, complaining, or demanding an ivestigation for nothing, or just because ther pacquioa fans, its because we/they have been cheated! Im pretty sure they, just like me want there money back! I know s@#t like this in boxing has been happening for a long time, but its time for a change! I feel very bad for pacman for bein so badly cheated, and feel very sorry for Bradley. Cause he is a champ with a big cloud over his head! Until he actually wins like a champ he will never be looked at as 1. Good luck with that! Im so glad my number 1 sport 2 watch is football, and the only sport i will pay 2 watch anymore will be mma! Rematch or not, mayweather fight or not......boxing is garbage!

  • Kerry Markholt - 12 years ago

I thought the fight between marquis and pacman was a closer match, through multiple rounds with bradley pacman had him staggering dizzy all over the ring, not once did i see bradley have control of that fight, bradley's punches were weak, he hardly even hurt pacquio, who paid off who here? I was whatching this fight in a household of twenty plus, with blacks, whites and filipinos and we were all disgusted, debating wether we will get together for a PPV fight again, as a white i am deeply ashamed of the outcome.

  • Neal Nason - 12 years ago

Investigate!!!! This will truely start the down fall of boxing. I've watched many boxing matches and have questioned some decisions. But this was the most rediculous decision I've ever seen. No, I will never pay for a boxing match again if this is not investigated and the title is restored to the boxer that clearly won the fight. I don't favor manny, but clearly he won this fight. Something isn't right about this decision. The decision is not acceptable to the majority of boxing fans.

  • robert - 12 years ago

this was a championship fight. how can a judge take something this important from a boxer that in all eyes and statistics won the fight. you have to beatup or knock out the champ. or you dont get the title. judges you dont take peoples lives and play with them this is a disgrace to your profession.abcgreen

those judges don't know how to score a fight :0

  • marie b. - 12 years ago

I made a side friendly bet in favor of Manny P. to win....as a good sport but with much disgust, my friend whom I lost the bet to for $50, didn't even accept the money from me, bec. he didn't feel right about Bradley winning. All I can say is that, it wasn't a SWEET VICTORY for Bradley. Manny to me was well more than a winner because THE WHOLE WORLD KNEW HE WON, and that to me is very humbling.
Those "old and supposedly seasoned judges" ought to be investigated...something is really fishy. How do you explain the angry eyes of millions of people who watched the game vs the chosen few to judge the fight.? Money talks huh?

  • Andy - 12 years ago

That only shows how subjective they are in basing their scores. That is just so stupid. There was a computerized counting being done by other people on ringside.
Best they should just move boxing to California.

They have to investigate this and rectify the mistake that has been made. There should be a clear standard on how to judge a fight. There has to be some objectivity to it. To say that there is so much subjectivity in judging it, would only apply to a fight that is really close. This one is not one of those fights. Manny won this based on the punches he landed compared to Bradley's. I think the judges should apologize for the incompetence and should be replaced with qualified ones.

  • a holly - 12 years ago

As a boxing fan I'm truly pissed off for many reasons first yes he was robbed I think that's clear but at what cost now these are Bob arums fighters if theres a rematch an pacman wins we have to watch a 3rd fight all this when we want mayweather bottom line is this are ppl who $50 is nothing to and they really don't value the die hard fans or tha sport because ruling a fight like this tha way it was ruled make me question anyone who would even consider watching it again... this was flat out robbery bottom line

  • Ryan Juan - 12 years ago

And i dont believe Bradley when he says he clearly won the fight.

  • Rita - 12 years ago

Yes, if we don't do any review of action now, it will never be investigated and Nevada Boxing will continue to do the way they do to make money. Well to those judges, it is so obvious and very clear to the world how corrupt you are.

  • Da Chief - 12 years ago

This is the biggest dereliction of duty case in the history of any sport from the judges who were paid to do the job. In this case where the "paying" audience were not only here in the USA but in the WORLD. There is no excuse. What were they thinking? People are much smarter today than back in the fifties, sixties and seventies. How could these people think that they can pull something as obvious as this off without getting a backlash from the paying public. Millions of people internationally got ripped off. This has to be investigated fully. End of statement.

you know with all this mess being created either from promoters or someone with high connections making a fight go sideways in favor of a loser just makes boxing really look bad. you'll have a lot of people turn around and would rather watch the UFC .

Ok for all of you that voted for Bradley, I would like to watch the match over again and count how many times that Bradley put his head down? What a joke, be a man Bradley and stand up and face Manny fighting, quit putting your head down and how many times did you hold Manny it's boxing Bradley, stand up and fight like a man >:( Manny WON!!! This is a fixed fight.

  • Joe c - 12 years ago

Replace those incompetent, aging over 70 years old judges with today's generation.

  • jojo - 12 years ago

i don't even know boxing, this was first time to watch...and i clearly know that Pacman won....there should be on investigation. you watch forensic files? Do the same method of investigation....count those punches......

    @ lionheart9

you gotta fahghettaboudit....the investigation ain't gonna happen with Marquez/Pacquiao 3, so stop your whining. You gotta focus on now, which is Pacquiao and Bradley....For obvious reasons, Manny has more fans than Marquez does. Was there such an outcry back then? Ha! I thought so! And please c'mon now, you know as well as I do, there unfortunately isn't going to be an investigation. Boxing is dead to a whole bunch of us.

  • ashley salvador - 12 years ago

Investigate!!! Fire those judges!!! Investigate their bank account up to their third generation!!! Arum should not be supported anymore!!! This is boxi-litics "boxing politics." Another work of mafia!!! Another work of illuminati!!! Why they know that there will be a re-match!!! PAC-man won this fight!!! Watch the slow motion. Do we have have right to sue them because they rob the viewers. Please advise. I want my money back.

  • eric - 12 years ago

Date already wrote into contract per manny!(

  • Jaime - 12 years ago

not only that but bradley posted a pic of the rematch poster on twitter on the 29th of may. then in the post fight interview with max keller he referenced the date on the poster november 10th

  • lionhearted9 - 12 years ago

Again I want to ask....where were all you analysts asking for an investigation and not going to pay for boxing anymore when Marquez got completly ripped off and robbed? Sounds like your justice only applies to fighter you like! lol

  • henry fletcher jr - 12 years ago

Ya'll need to let it go .You don't want Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton out there causing trouble. Mayweather probably bought the judges from his jail cell to prolong his spanking from the Pacman.

  • jimm is an idiot - 12 years ago

    @Jimmy

DONT BE AN IDIOT OR YOU MAKE THE PEOPLE ARGUING WITH YOU SEEM LESS BRIGHT AS WELL!

  • Joaquin Torres - 12 years ago

My appeal is not for PACMAN anymore, but for the sport itself... An investigation is in-evitable if only the bring back it's credibility, and so as the fans... I called on boxing enthusiasts, legends, writers,or any associations with regards to this matter, all who care about the sport...(Lewis,De la hoya,Marquez,M. WHALBERG among others..)this will go to history...it's either we stand up now or forever hold your dismay...

  • Jimmy - 12 years ago

Someone should ask the two Judges that stole the fight from Manny if they are Gay or if they are supporters of same sex marriage. Could be this was intentional to get back at Manny for his CORRECT stance on same sex marriage.

  • scott - 12 years ago

I've been both a fighter and a fight fan for over 30 years. This was NOT a close fight by any stretch of the imagination, which makes it difficult to make a case for judge incompetence. There was something else at work here. I rarely agree with Bob Arum, but this time I do. An investigation is in order. Otherwise boxing is a joke. Even to the most die-hard fans.

  • Darrin - 12 years ago

It's sicken me, to think that we the people,(fans), have to put up with the Bull ****** that come from f****r, we expect to be honest and trustworthy. Time for a change don't youTHINK.

  • ali - 12 years ago

If they don't make this right soon then their will be no difference between WWE and boxing!

  • agar agar - 12 years ago

Buck is right. We should all demand from our cable/sattelite companies that they DEMAND an investigation or we will no longer purchase PPV. Money or lack of PPV sales- talk!

  • voice of reason - 12 years ago

Seriously people the only thing your going off of is the compubox numbers and if we judged every fight with those boxing would be way different and not in a good way. The decision sure might have been wrong but Bradley was a "busy fighter" and judges like that so he took the close rounds and obviously took some rounds he didnt deserve. But what it comes down to is that Paquiao didn't win the fight he didnt do enough to make it obvious, he has gotten very comfortable in just getting the benefit of the doubt as the champ and getting every decision. Bradley is not Paquiao quality but neither is Paquiao anymore. Paquiao should be taking fights like this out of the judges hands if he is as great as you all think he is! People talk about the pay-per-view being a rip off due to a decision they didnt like but we don't buy PPV for judges decisions we buy them for exciting fights and KO's, so you all should ask Manny to send you your $65 back and since his last like 10 fights have been pretty boring thats like $650 he owes all of you. Congrats to Bradley and his team and hopefully he doesn't give Paquiao a rematch and makes a huge payday when he fights Mayweather next.

  • TedM - 12 years ago

The scores in boxing is based on how many punches landed on each boxer. Manny Pacquiao clearly landed more punches to Tim Bradley. The scores should be investigated. The judges should be held accountable for any incompetence.

  • agar agar - 12 years ago

YES! As a paying customer (PPV) I demand an investigation on these bogus judges. Bradley was cheated out of a respectable loss. And Manny, well we all know...

  • Randy Balansi - 12 years ago

In all sports, fairness, professionalism, and honesty should be the based of rendering the final decision at all times. All controversial decision(s) must lunch for an investigation as part of the sport professionalism, to maintain honesty and to satisfied all question's and concern arise coming from different sectors who support the sport(s). The Pacquiao, Bradley fight should have an thourough investigation especially in the mental capacity or the health conditions of the two judges and their financial background, The whole world watched the fight and the majority believed that Pacquiao won the fight. How in the hell these two judges went against the majority, could it be because of their health worsening condition(s) or they got paid for more than what they can't imagine? Dignity, honor and professionalism over a lot of money? or is there a conspiracy to promote another fight to make more money? or the Nevada Sport Committee can easily manipulate by the highest bidder? Could it be the rematch was already been plan? and before the fight, everything was already been a done deal? If you're blind and deaf perhaps you can still support the next fight, but for those who don't get easily fool by greed and dishonesty, boycott the done deal rematch.

  • worthit4u2 - 12 years ago

I wonder why the judges scores were so similar to each other, while so far off of other boxing professionals unofficially scoring same fight! All three judges had it close! How does the one who scored for Manny have it so close a fight! Answer these questions and you will know if an investigation should ensue!

  • FRANK - 12 years ago

FRANK-WHAT FIGHT WERE THOSE JUDGES WATCHING???????????????? OR WHERE DID THEY RENT THESE JUDGES FROM??? PLEASE IF BRADLEY WON, WHY IS THERE SO MUCH CONTROVERSY LOOK AT THE STATISTICS OF THE PEOPLE AS TO WHO WON THE FIGHT... ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS ARUM GETS A GRAMMEY FOR HIS ACT.. ON HOW HE WANTS AN INVESTIGASTION WHEN HE KNOWS IN THE BACK OF HIS MIND THERE WONT BE WON ARUM IS A FAKE BUT HE DEFINETLY GETS AN OSCAR FOR HIS ACT .....

  • Dex - 12 years ago

Looks like 173 people didn't even watch the fight...

  • Jason Dixon - 12 years ago

This was a clear win for the Pac Man. If you're going to fix a fight, you need to at least make sure it's a close one!

  • vic - 12 years ago

    Pacquiao won; Boxing is a joke nowadays because of corrupt or incompetent jugging;

  • shane - 12 years ago

Just like in any other sport, if there's a controversy, they should replay the video in slow motion so the officials can judge appropriately. If they can show that Pacquiao was hit in the face then I'm not gonna argue with the judges. Most of Bradley's punches did not connect and that shouldn't count. But we can show them the slow motion that bradley was hit right in the face by Pacquiao several times and that should have a big point.

  • Joe - 12 years ago

I'm not a Pacquiao fan, but this one is clear win for Pac.
If it's a close fight I would agree on some questionable judging but this one
is a night and day differences.

Boxing is dead..... I will not even watch the rematch!

  • mother miles - 12 years ago

Of course it was fixed!!! There will only be honest judging when you have three scoreboards
so everyone can see the scoring round by round from each of the three judges.

  • lionhearted9 - 12 years ago

Almighty man.... What i'm saying is that alot of the rounds were very close and it would have
came down to what judges liked more to decide those close rounds. Bradley's defense was superb! He blocked a ton of left hands by pac man. His face was in really good shape after the fight, dont you think it would have had more damage/swelling if he got hit so much with pac man's best punch? And no I'm not a Marquez fan but i watched that fight and Marquez MESSED UP pac man! he deserved the WIN but was robbed. So Stop whining like the rest and accept that pac man lost...he does.

  • bensha - 12 years ago

pacman easely won the fight.bad desicion like this makes boxing looks bad.it make me and a lot of people not to watch boxing again.just wait for the tv news who wins the fight.

  • Robb SC - 12 years ago

Evidently there was corruption involved. The only way to get the truth out is through investigation. Since the Executive Director of the Nevada Athletic Commission was resisting the clamor for investigation, it places him as one of the possible big fishes involved in the corruption and he himself should be investigated.

  • Ted - 12 years ago

Judges should not have a blank check. They should be accountable and must be able to defend their decision on a rational basis and not just hide behind the "subjectivity shield". There must also be some kind of framework or objective standards where their opinions/decisions will be measured against and not be unreasonably remote from the standards. Compubox is not perfect but it is a step in the right direction and is all we have. Boxing fans will not continue to tolerate the status quo that says: "Sometimes that's just the way it goes". No! That just have to stop if we want the sport to be continued by the fans.

  • Judge No. 1 & 2 - 12 years ago

What can we say; they gave us money for Bradley to win. Check my bank account. It's all their, so long suckers! - We are going for a European trip, pay all our debts, have a happy life. Until then for the next fight.......more money for us, Judges!!!!!
