I like the obvious organization of who goes on when, during the game. The Rider Coaches have their act together. We got to see all 4 quarterbacks, 3 of which have never been in a CFL game. It looks like we have some very good running backs and our linebackers look strong.
There are a couple of DB's that are going to push starters and our team speed is much better than last year. Harper and Sanders look like they will not hurt the team at all. Put Shologan and George in the middle on defence and we will have a very different looking 4 man rush. The thing I really enjoyed was watching all the new players get opportunities to play under game conditions. Plays were drawn up to see how each of them would react . I don't think Dressler was thrown one ball which is good, because we know what he can do. He might not have even been in the game. I taped the game and have watched the full game a couple of times. Hurl is a winner and there will be a tough decision around Rowe and Ellis. Nice to see Sisco and Cherry have a couple of balls thrown to them. I'm looking forward to seeing Moss in the next exibition game. Our Canadian players are very, very strong. I feel that this season is a growing season for the team and next season will show great results. Making the playoffs this year will be a bonus! They will be an entertaining team.
