Here are the numbers for 3 players since 2010(JPP's first year), you tell me who they are Player#1 30.5 sacks 98 tackles, Player#2 22 sacks 116 tackles Player#3(3 fewer games games due to injury) 21 sacks 109 tackles. If you said Jason Babin Jason, Pierre-Paul, and Trent Cole, you are correct. By the numbers Trent Cole has put up the same numbers as JPP while playing in 3 fewer games, and he was playing under a new system that by his own account took him half the season to figure out (numbers in the second half of last year are far better then the first half). Trent Cole is not only regarded as an elite pass rusher, but also the best DE in the leage against the run (last year teams stopped running to his side). don't get me wrong, I like JPP, and NY does have one of the best D-lines in the league, but he is not the best D-lineman on either team, and NY doesn't have the DT's or depth over the Eagles. By the way bring up Kiwi's name in this story was a mistake. Again look at the numbers. Every back-up the Eagles have put up better numbers then him. then you have to take a look at Brandon Graham. yes he has not put up number even close to those of JPP however, news flash, he tore his ACL late in the 2010 season causing him to miss the rest of the season and most of the 2011 season. he played 3 games and the team told him to sit our the rest of the year to work on his leg and get it stronger. However...when you look at thier numbers on a per snaps played bases Graham far out played JPP in thier rookie seasons. Graham played half as many snaps as JPP and nearly had as many sacks (BG 3, JPP 4.5). Even in college Graham was a far better player and was rank high before the draft because he had better numbers while playing against better competition and consistently got more pressure on the QB. oh, and in case you havn't watched an Eagles preseason game Hunt and Tapp are beast too. The Eagles have a leage leading 14 sacks in 3 games (without Babin or a gameplan). Some people even think this Eagles D-line could brack the record for most sack in a season by a D-Line (62, Eagles had 50 last year)
