Right now I use a toshiba Satellite, my main reason is because of budget restrictions, but my preference is mac.

My main reason is price. because Djing is a hobby for me and didn't want to spend too much in case I quit.

the only reason i have a mac is reliability ... the pc's i have use in the pass had me worring all the time ... not with a mac ... had it for six month no problem at all ... that to me is worth all the money i paid....

I use an Acer Aspire. It's the best laptop ever and it's got nothing to do with the fact I can't afford a Mac. Alright, maybe that's exactly the reason I use it.

OSX on Mac hardware, purely because apple maintain tight control over their software/hardware ecosystem, thereby eliminating potential compatibility issues.
The PC world has (as ever) been incumbent with incompatible hardware, driver issues, manufacturers blaming software vendors, and vice versa. This simply doesn't happen to anywhere near the same scale on a mac.
I don't want to get started on who's more tech-savvy because they can "make anything work on a PC". For me it's about performance and reliability first-time, every-time.
