Is the UN right to express alarm over Quebec's anti-protest law, Bill 78?

This ceased to become about tuition when bill 78 was passed. NOW, it's about the right to freedom of assembly & expression. It's about your rights, my rights and the erosion of rights and freedoms in Canada. So, AGAIN WITH THE POTS! LOUDER THIS TIME!

To say that the UN High Commissioner compared the situation in Syria with that of Quebec is a misrepresentation of her speech. She listed her concerns from around the world. No comparison was made or implied. Quit it with the innaccurate reporting, CBC!

Just so John (and others) should know, Quebec has signed a mandate with the United Nations for free education, accessible to all. So if for some reason, Quebec were to bring that up, it would just hurt them even more.

To respond to your opinion about the tuition. It will no longer be the cheapest. Considering we pay the most taxes, considering our government is corrupt, considering our universities (and government) are mismanaging the funds (which are more than enough to keep tuition where there are), considering the banks and huge corporations don't pay their "fair share" and also get in return almost the amount needed for free education in our province for a year... No, I refuse you call them spoiled.

we also pay the highest taxes in Canada in order to have access to education and it has nothing to do with price, the police is beating people who protest(not all students), is that a good way to treat the people, if you protest to protect you environment(c 38) or for all i care , you money, or your right to speak if you care about that, do you want to get treated that way ?

I wonder if the UN realizes that these spoiled kids enjoy the cheapest tuition in our country. Lets not forget this important fact!!
