I know Humberto for 30 years. The first time I saw him was at the Gallery of Mrs Dora Valdes-Fauli.
He is in my opinion the best of the best. Besides he is an excellent husband, father, friend and a great human being.

I ushered at Gusman Center from 1981-1997. The Looney Tunes poster & sweat shirt were used in 1989. I still have the sweat shirt! Some of my clothes are older than some of the MIFF movie goers! That year's festival was so much fun! I'm a life long resident of Miami-Dade County, but I never realized until that film festival that the Looney Tunes were made in Miami! That is so cool!
Some great films (animated and non-animated) were shown at that festival, also.
I hope the new winning poster and the festival are as good as 1989's.
