Should the Ukraine goal have counted?

I played football as a young man. It is very hard work to get match fit & maintain that fitness. Fans also travel a long way to support their team and often at great expense. The very least they deserve is a fair game. Football is a fair game, aside from players trying to cheat the ref & often getting away with it, I think its high time that important decisions were made fail safe so that the poor sight or emotional stress of a referee can not ever again interfere with the outcome of the game which, is supposed to be a sporting event. I have had no faith in EUAFA for a very long time due to this insistence that 1 man, can change the truth in the eyes of the millions and it will stand. This makes the game, EUAFA, the players and all the fans asses. WHY?
It is time to put the technology into the game & thereby make it sport again, fair for both players & fans. The only reason this is not done is so that EUAFA can influence games as they have always done.
Think of all the bad decisions that have stood which everyone but the ref saw like the Ukrain goal which had a goal line ref not 6 yards away.... So what exactly is that mans job? Is he not there for that specific reason? He missed it, or was paid to look the other way?
We use technology for everything in life because it works, so lets be sporting and use it in football. The 'old boy' club should be dismantled & a new era of fairness & right be introduced.

    Thank you.
