This man deserves this title. Very proud of him. Being an Ohioan and a vocal LBJ supporter since 2003, I have had to deal with the haters for years.

The funny thing is he poured everything into the Cavs for 7 years! Was he supposed to stay just because the city of Cleveland decided to make their lives revolve around the man? People need to let go of that hate; it has such a hold on those so-called Cavs fans (cmon, most of them weren't even fans UNTIL LeBron lol).

I wish him all the great things life has to offer. He's an amazing ball player and a good human being. He has done a lot for our state and instead of being pissed that he left, we all need to be thankful that he made Ohio NBA-relevant again.

I have been a fan for the past few years. I have much respect for the young man and will remain a loyal fan forever. Keep your head on straight LJ and continue to love and respect your mom...I'm in your corner all the way.

Congrats to Lebron! I'm a die-hard Lakers fan though. I will give him credit, he seemed focused this year.

Every team in the NBA (maybe minus 1-2) would LOVE to have LBJ. Everyone else is jealous.

Dont matter what you guys say its over tonight and if its not tonight it will be sunday... the heat should've won last year.. trust me the heat going to be in the finals for the next 3-4 YEARS.. nobody in the east can beat them.. The heat going to be the next "Buffalo Bills" of basketball they going to win this year but they're going to lose more then they win bout what the patriots doing now going to the big dance but cant win. Well deserved! Lebron James has done what Kobe and Michael could not; he took the worst franchise (Cleveland Cavs) in the NBA, and made them playoff contenders for the entire term of his contract and of those seven years, they had four Eastern conference Final appearances and one NBA Final appearance. Michael Jordan could not get pass the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the playoffs, and when he final got passed the Cavs, the Bulls could not get pass the Detroit Pistons until Scottie Pippen came on board. Do I have to mention Kobe's success without Shaq, and how the Lakers could not get passed the Pheonix Suns? Lebron is the Greatest Player we have witnessed in our lifetime. Stop hating and start appreciating!

It is good to see someone with talent and opportunity to overcome self imposed obstacles. It was evident he wasnt emotionally ready for success last year. It seems like he has beaten that dragon and is ready to step fully into a leadership role. Im not saying he is better than others, just that he is growing as an individual. I like to see that.

im loving it go lebron..man u the man, hope yall do it tonight.

  • bibine2310 - 12 years ago

He really deserves to win that championship. I don't understand why people hate him so much. When you work hard you expect rewards if you cannot have it where you are, you have to look for it somewhere else and that exactly what it did. I wish him luck for tonight.

You can boil Lebrons move down to two words " BETTER OPPORTUNITY". If you take a poll of all the haters out there asking if there first job is the only job they ever had, 99% will probably say no are you crazy, there choice was driven by the same two words. Don't hate appreciate. All the best Lebron you deserve this championship. GO HEAT.

Great article on ESPN about how James has changed over the past year. Opened my eyes. Turned off the hate. Good for James.

  • jp - 12 years ago

All the haters turned me into a Lebron fan. Their level hate has become so irrational and ridiculous, I felt bad for Lebron. Now I want him to win it, just to spite the jealous fans out there. People are so blinded by their hate, they haven't even realized how much Lebron has matured since joining the Heat.

  • yetunde - 12 years ago

he deserves it. It is about time. Tired of the haters.

Yes, Lebron he is one of the best players of the game today, along with Kevin Durant. He is also one of the most arrogant players, along with Kobe Bryant. But despite Lebron's sterling performance in the playoffs basket is a collective game and the Miami Heat has a round up team also due to Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh so the title is a natural thing, whether you like it or not. It doesn't change the fact that Lebron is an arrogant jerk that fuels so many hatters.
