I think that Kendall's was better, but you have to understand that he obviously rehearsed that, and it was just thrown at Niall! most of you are missing the point of this contest. the question isn't who is a better singer, it's who's cover is better. both niall and kendall are amazingly talented individuals but this contest is only based on their covers, not their singing abilities in general.

The only reason some people think Kendall's is better is because his is more clear, the whole song, and like a music video kinda. But, Niall's is better because of his voice, which is amazing. Not that I don't like Kendall, but Niall's is better by far.

OF COURSE IT'S NIALL! his video got captured terribly unlike kendall's which is OBVIOUSLY EDITED! to be fair, Kendall has to sing it also from a concert or Niall sings it on a studio just like Kendall's.! I'M VOTING FOR NIALL. because he's great and that. I don't know why you all hate him or he's the least favorite of all 1D but w/o him, 1D wouldn't even exist! niall's voice isn't the problem but the VIDEO ITSELF. Kendall should definitely win because his cover was genuinely better. No offense to Niall, but Kendall put more effort into his cover.
To those people saying that Kendall did a studio recording, he didn't. It only sounds better because legit microphones used to film it so stop using that as an excuse.

I love Niall- he is my favorite 1D boy, but Kendall should win this. It's a poll asking who's A Team cover was better, not who sounded the best under the circumstances. Yes, Niall was in the midst of a concert and Kendall recorded a proper cover with a music video and everything, but Kendall also completed the video in two takes. And Niall's voice scratched over the high notes, that's factual, so whoever tries to deny it and say he's got a "better tone" or "sounds better" is biased. It's unfortunate that all of Kendall's hard work and talent will go unnoticed because Niall is apart of a British sensation and people can't see past the hearts in their eyes and recognize true talent. Niall is great, and he has a wonderful voice, but Kendall's cover is clearly better. It's just a shame he's losing because over-zealous One Direction fans can't stand to see their phenomenon lose at anything.

Niall definitely did it better. I'm not even saying that just because I'm a directioner. (that's obviously part of the reason but not totally). Kendall's voice sounds horrible in his cover and Niall's voice just sounds so much better for this song and Niall has such a beautiful voice and it's sooooo much than Kendall's. IRISH BOSS

okay, so im a directioner. my answer will be biased but just hear me out. i hate nothing against BTR or Kendall. but Nialls was more heartfelt. you could see him get into it. his voice suited the song more than Kendall. also, One Direction is good friends with Ed(because of Harry being his biffle), so Niall probably sang it with Ed and the boys alot. I love that song and Ed Sheeran, but I think Niall sang it better. Ya, Niall only sang a couple of lines, but overall his tone quality was better- even with an ammature recording it- through out the performance. Kendall's voice was very whiny in his cover. I also think that Kendall did not do the song justice.

I think they both did really good. I like both One Direction and BTR but I honestly think Niall did a better job. Although Kendall's does sound better I think it is only because he actually did a proper cover and it was quiet. Niall did his cover during a concert where it was very loud so obviously it is going to be harder to listen to Niall's/One Direction's cover. I think if Niall did a proper cover it would be a way better competition and more fair.

I love Niall- he is my favorite 1D boy, but Kendall should win this. It's a poll asking who's A Team cover was better, not who sounded the best under the circumstances. Yes, Niall was in the midst of a concert and Kendall recorded a proper cover with a music video and everything, but Kendall also completed the video in two takes. And Niall's voice scratched over the high notes, that's factual, so whoever tries to deny it and say he's got a "better tone" or "sounds better" is biased. It's unfortunate that all of Kendall's hard work and talent will go unnoticed because Niall is apart of a British sensation and people can't see past the hearts in their eyes and recognize true talent. Niall is great, and he has a wonderful voice, but Kendall's cover is clearly better. It's just a shame he's losing because over-zealous One Direction fans can't stand to see their phenomenon lose at anything.

I love that song and Ed Sheeran, but I think Niall sang it better. Ya, Niall only sang a couple of lines, but overall his tone quality was better- even with an ammature recording it- through out the performance. Kendall's voice was very whiny in his cover. I also think that Kendall did not do the song justice.

I think they both did really good. I like both One Direction and BTR but I honestly think Niall did a better job. Although Kendall's does sound better I think it is only because he actually did a proper cover and it was quiet. Niall did his cover during a concert where it was very loud so obviously it is going to be harder to listen to Niall's/One Direction's cover. I think if Niall did a proper cover it would be a way better competition and more fair.
