I support the homeowner. Please respect our native environment and fellow creatures in designing these types of communities. Our Creator, afterall, has greater wisdom than we do.

It's a shame that an association would destroy nature. The garden had butterflies and other nature inhabitants. Thumbs down to the board. You bully and pressure homeowners to follow your rules. The board members are the first to bend or break a rule. You bullied an old man till he was arrested because he fought for his rights. He wa visabily upset when they tore his garden to pieces. I guess the board members were proud of themselves for their actions. The board members got what they wanted and hurt someone in the process. Board members lets give you a gold medal. You've proved no one else mattes but you. F---k the homeowners I'm a tyrant and proud to be a tryant.

I live there and think we live in a well-run, beautifully kept-up community. A set of by-laws is the price we pay for not having to maintain our yards or put in my own pool and hot tub and tennis courts, for not having to paint my house or buy a new roof. One disgruntled resident is always around to complain about something. I think the Board of Directors handled this situation well and could not have anticipated the threatening behavior of the resident. The birds and butterflies they enjoy so much are in everyone's garden if they bothered to look. Bullying the Board, or anyone is no longer permitable. I support the Board of Directors.

One more reason not to live in one of these mini concentration camps! I've heard all the reasons they are good. I don't buy any of them. And I hear all the reasons and stories about how bad they are. Not for me. If I want to paint my house green with purple stripes, I can. If I want a mailbox made from milk cartons, I can have one.

The HOA should be ashamed of themselves but I know they aren't. They stand there and say how righteous they are in enforcing some stupid rule.

That's why I will not live in a development with an association. Nosey people with too much authority over your property.
