Do YOU think Robert Pattinson's career is in trouble?

Rob is really an Indy-type actor who sort of fell into the whole "Twilight" thing - and who can imagine anyone else as Edward now? This is an intelligent man who wants to learn and grow from each film he chooses to do. He's commented numerous times on the compromises forced onto big-budget pictures by the studio "suits." And he's mentioned his amazement with how Cronenburg makes every decision on his films without any outside interference.
As for his post-"Twilight" flops - Cosmopolis hasn't even been released in the US yet, and really isn't intended for the mass-market idiots. "Bel Ami" isn't half bad, but Magnolia chose to not market it at all and to barely release it in a handful of cities. It just opened this week in California's 2nd largest city, on 1 screen with 2 showings a day, plus 1 matinee on the weekend. Yesterday's matinee was well-attended but I'd say no one in the audience was under 40 years old, so I doubt most of them were there because of Rob. The audience loved the film, laughing and making comments to their seatmates.
    I'm just sayin'...
