This must never happen. This is the NFL - the National Football League not the World Football League. Them there Brits tried to take over America a few years ago and this more then likely is just another plot of theirs to get there foot in the door. I don't remember hearing them appologize for shooting up our U. S. Capital. Let them play soccer and footsies with there old decrepit queen. They will soon demand that we have crumpits and tea in the new stadium. We must fight shoulder to shoulder now to keep them out.

@Cory, it's not like London is that far, only 7.5 hours from NY. West coast teams still fly across the country all the time and takes same amount. You could schedule it around the team's bye week either before or after so they can rst up, time adjustment etc.

I live in scandinavia and it would be great to have team in London. It would be much easier and cheaper to go see games there than states.
But I'm afraid it wouldnt work in the long run. So, maybe not.

I lve in England & why would I stop following MY team to support a team in London?

14% of the polled NFL fans say the NFL should put a team in London - based on his past history of massively bending the data to fit his PR agenda, that will give Roger Goodell license to claim that fans WANT to see a team in Europe! YEAH!

I would wait until they could fund 6-8 teams in Europe that would be comprised of mostly European talent. Then they have their own season and super bowl, culminating in a game after the super bowl, the true world championship game.

I'm all about expanding the sport, but imagine the logistics of home and away games and the wear that'd place on the players, in turn affecting the end-product. If the London teams stinks, it's the NFL Europe all over again. No thanks.

This move would prove to weaken the overall structure of authority in "Americas Game", and also wouldn't the NFL have to become the INFL? (International Football League?)

Take the Patriots over there. If Kraft wants it, then let him go over there. They can be the London England Patriots, or the Old England Patriots.

Get a grip you silly nannys ...

It would be smashing to have the NFL expand to London .

Now go back to burying your heads in the sand ...

    CHANGE IS GONNA COME .

    NO! NO! NO!

NO NFL teams in England. Same thing applies to Mexico & Canada.

I am a Canadian and no NFL teams should be based anywhere outside of the United States.

I am English , born and raised , love my country, love the NFL but its a really bad idea

    72% NO so far.

Quit trying to move our teams around to make more money. Loyalty is a big deal. Owners need to be loyal to fans instead of chasing an extra buck. If they aren't, they may end up losing the fans completely.

Yes if he wants a team there he should take his patriots for good

  • Terry - 12 years ago

Kraft should send his own club...the Patriots...Bye bye NE

it's the kiss of death for any business or enterprise to overextend itself. that's exactly what would happen here.
