Unlike many of these gentlemen, I think not really caring about the Olympics is a reasonable position to take. However, I assume you get some kind of compensation for doing Hot Clicks, which actually means you are kind of getting paid to watch them (or at least pay attention to them) and to include things that you think are approriate.

1. The Olympics are pure sport. Unknown athletes trying to be the best in the world, all while not making what Jeter makes in a single at-bat. They train for four years to be the best.... and not much more than that. Sure, there are a few Olympians that get advertising deals, but that's definitely the minority.
2. What other time will you be able to cheer your a$$ off while watching the Mens 4x100 freestyle relay?!? I can barely stay afloat, but I cheer on anyone wearing the Stars & Stripes.... any sport, any time. One of the best moments from the 2008 Games: The heavily-favored French relay team talked smack.
