Do they sing the anthem in both languages in Quebec city?
Besides, when has there ever been a cowboy that croaked in communication instead of death?
I am Anglophone but I believe that the NATIONAL anthem should always be sung in both official languages. Despite my lack of French I have learned the words in both languages and I enjoy singing them. Listen to the New Zealand anthem which is always sung in Maori and English.
Talk about excuses...Westerners have also made fun of those from the "east" really central (Ontario) about how they feel like they are the center of the universe, well the numbers that voted yes - all I can say: Would you like to be pot or kettle?
