They need to let him go. He's a good player who saved the Knicks' 2011-12 season, but unfortunately he's not worth the 20-something million and the luxury tax that comes with it. I'm all for Jeremy but there's no way they can keep him

Jiemi Lin to go and looked very sad. Such a good player even get this kind of response. So sincere attitude. Played a few games so that we have moved the game ... I want to ask about an NBA only how long a playerwill play moving .... a war Pearson product team was a feather boy to link up .. let the bench players are beginning to be concerned about them .. all this is visible to all. Knicks executives can seeto our expectations. we all hope that Nick can get a championship. create an odd plot it.

Jeremy Lin in the last season, there is indeed a stunning performance
However, the beginning due to it is too short to show
He can now sign a controversial contract
This is nothing much to lose for employers
Because just as is incidental value is also worth
But the fundamental is he needs to perform a complete season
    To prove everything.

The thing is that J Lin will bring stuff off the court that other players cannot. Think about the extra revenue from the jerseys and tickets that he brings. I mean, how many people on the street can recognize raymond felton?

NBA is not littered with harvard graduate player. linsanity is born in newyork but if he goes to
houston then its time to buy houston jersey.

  • Raymond - 12 years ago

Good that he's gone. Most over rated player in the NBA.

Personally, i would let Lin go though i have nth against the guy. Ppl should look at his fundamental basketball value fist and then add his market value on top, not the other way around.
Plus, Knicks still have a couple of years left on Armor & Melo, and we have to say, Amor & Melo on the same court, is a disaster, Melo with Lin on the same court, is an even bigger disaster.
NYC is a big attraction for anybody, and Knicks can always offer the same luxury deal once one of those guys (Armor & Melo) contract expires. It's not like they are worth to keep, at the present moment anyway..

Man he is a gem, thats why the price is high, we cant blame the rockets for giving him 28m. and its like and auction the highest bidder win, if so happen that the knicks let him go, they can have a bad karma. Im for linsanity in New York.

i agree w/ JL. and i believe, the management of the Knicks WILL match the offer. the Brooklyn stage in MSG need their beautiful drama, the soap opera of Lin's. that's it.

  • Jorge - 12 years ago

I use to dislike the Knicks, but Lin's Cinderella peformance made me love them. If he is traded, my heart will go with him to Houston.

  • JL - 12 years ago

Jeremy, this is the REAL WORLD, you save Knicks managements' job by that 25 games, did you ? But, maybe you can cut down your request payment for Knicks if you have the right beside your Agent Agreement, because Knicks gave you the opportunity to show your ability. Thinking back to Chinese way, then you will know what to do !!

  • knicks management is fail - 12 years ago

NY solution would've been giving up either amare or melo and keep lin, sign nash = more real nba fans, larger fan base (due to lin's asian background which ny abused during linsanity) and more money than they made last feb. Unfortunately knicks management are blind idiots and knicks fans should've woken up since spreewell days also marbury and curry.

    GOTTT ITTT.

I won't be watching any Knicks games if Jeremy Lin leaves. Honestly, I want him to leave the Knicks and the Melo drama. I'll be supporting the Houston Rockets and the OKC Thunder.

Jeremy, wishing you the best and thanks for working hard, inspiring others, and getting me interested in the NBA again. Congratulations to the offer you received from the Houston Rockets because you deserve it!

i think the knicks should keep lin cuz not only the money he brings to new york nd the fan base its what's go to happen to kid nd his dwi ???? time will tell ????

  • Harold A. - 12 years ago

let him walk..if he has loyalty to the knicks fans, then he must know that...he owed something no NY people for becoming sa star and given the break he's looking for, then he'll accept rockets who junk him in his rookie debut...hayssssss Lin...its not about money, its about loving the game you want to play for the fans who gave u importance...your next name will be...LIN LIN AWAY...thats bad to hear...

  • MZC - 12 years ago

Linsanity is what kept Knicks fans in the stadium, got all the old fans back and got the whole city alive again. don't be fooled by the "money" the knicks are complaining about with the 3rd year paycheck. Please...how much did the knicks made from Linsanity last year??? how much will they make the next 3 years???? MUCH MUCH MUCH more than what they'll pay him ~ plus, that's why kidd came to the knicks, to mentor him! plus...Amare and Melo won't work...one of them will be traded before the "big paycheck" season comes anyways!

men even if they have jermey lin theynew york still suck they got carmelo, amare and chandley nd they still caint advance the 1st round of the playoffs come on look at the heat now.

  • winthrop - 12 years ago

Now that Landry Fields is gone and Iman Shumpert is not 100% they need to keep him. I cannot blame NY for getting Raymond Felton due to the Marcus Camby trade and if we do not get to keep Jeremy Lin then all NY have left is Mike Bibby or look else where. I pray that NY get to keep him home and that's it.

  • LI QC - 12 years ago

Hi, I hope Knicks can keep it promise. Linsanity was born in NY, let's continue the Story next season. Knicks or Rockets I will continue supporting Jeremy #17.

  • MC - 12 years ago

Yo I am a New York Knicks season ticket holder and I got to be honest, MSG was literally rocking during Linsanity last year. It was awesome to be there during that and I wish J Lin nothing but the best during his career.
