Should groups of three public restrooms (women, men and family) become the norm?
Maybe. There are situations and circumstances that would make a third option beneficial to many.
No. Two restrooms have been enough for generations and there’s no need to add the additional expense of a third.
Yes. Good bathroom and hygiene habits must be taught at a young age and allowing parents and children of all sexes to use the same facilities makes this a more productive experience.
