Why does a guy stay in a relationship while he shows no interest about the relationship at all?

He still benefits from the girl

He's afraid to take the blame for the failure of the relationship

He still love the girl, yet just need some time for himself

He is just valuing the longetivity of the relationship

Just so afraid to be beaten up :)
