One of my favorite characteristics of Haggard's "She" is its unabashed, sarcastic misogyny. What is your view on misogyny in literature?
Burn them all. The misogynists, that is. Not the books. Put those in a vault so we don't have to confront their contents.
Follow LitBeetle's diplomatically sound but slightly ambiguous (lukewarm??) view and stay removed while quietly chuckling at everything.
Forgive Mr. Haggard his sins, just as we forgave Hemingway and Updike and Roth. It's not their faults they were born superior manly men.
Screw all y'all.
