I've looked at all the stats and studied all the rosters as well a schedules and I'm really leaning toward Bryn Mawr to take it all this time around.

i feel as alabama should be number 1...for the simple fact that they won the national championship.How does that feel to win it all and the next season your not number 1..im telling you watch and see what happens..I like LSU odds and the razorbacks are loaded with talent...If based on the strength of schedule..those three teams have to play each other yr in and out and to add fuel to the fire isnt texas am in the sec as well and there no cupcake wgere as usc just have to play two tough games...wow if thats all u need to be number 1 then pick anytime for that matter...you have to show me something besides what you have in the locker room...

LSU with the most experience returning is the slight favorite over Bama but as is said, "On any given day." Arkansas is a threat to both teams as they both go to Fayetteville so as much as I hate to admit it the road to the SEC Championship leads thru Fayetteville. My #2 is the Trojans. The offense is just ridiculous and the defense althought not SEC tough is formidable. But overall, yes, GEAUX TIGERS!!

I want to be ranked #1 or #2 after the Arkansas game on November 23rd. Being ranked #1 right now is meaningless even though I do think that LSU is the best team in the nation. I would also rather be #1 or #2 after the SEC Championship game too, thus assuring ourselves of a spot in the BCS National Championship Game in Miami.

Big John - to answer your question...because Bama has lost more studs on defense than LSU - they lack the depth that LSU has on the defensive side.

Because the poll is based on coaching and potential for this year, not prevous years. But if you want to look at previous years, since LSU has beaten bama 2 out of the last 3 times they've played, you could base it on that.
