I love the idea of you going to the Galapagos on a nice mid-size boat between 30-50 passengers. Not too big, not too small. Usually with kayaks on board. I've been there twice now and was just amazed by the variety of wildlife on each island. Plus it was so refreshing to not have the wildlife run away from you like everywhere else on the planet. You can just stop and observe their behavior at very close range and they don't even seem to notice you.
