Of those choices provided I believe Ryan the most likely, especially since Wisconsin will be an important "conversion state" this cycle. Governor Christie and Senator Rubio have long persisted in their assertion that they have no desire or interest to serve in this position. I believe both of them. I think both have current family situations (i.e., young families) that make this not a good time for them. Both have goals yet to accomplish in their current positions; and, I believe both MAY have higher aspirations for later in their careers. Not offered for consideration was Senator Rob Portman of Ohio. I think he is the best choice as he would stregthen the ticket in Ohio. Ohio is a MUST win swing state as they have not failed to support the winning ticket for a very long time!! I think Senator Portman has the political acumen and history as a successful campaigner to significantly help the ticket, especially in his home state of Ohio.
