What grade would you give the Magic for the trade?

I'm glad the Magic got rid of Howard, but they should have got one of the stars from this trade - Iguodala! The Lakers have to wonder if : 1) Howard will act any different for them than he did for the Magic, ie negative, disrespectful, demanding, immature; 2) he will change and be a team player for them, and 3) his back surgery was successful, and will allow him to be at 100% physically. Denver may have benefited most from this trade!

What this trade did to Orlando is make the upcoming Magic-bobcats games very interesting. I predict bobcats will sweep them. Magic will have the chance to break Bobcats record for futility. That would put a smile on Michael Jordan's face. I wonder how many will watch the head-to-head games. 1000?

As a magic fan i see the ups and downs to this horrible outcome...yes we got rid of the poison (dwight coward) but we fell short in that trade. Glad we got rid of duhon and richardson but clark would have been nice to keep. We should have got Iggy to Orlando at least that. Put some hope for us fans to look at a new and desire to watch our team play but im not looking foward to 2 even 3 bad years to come. All wounds heal but we have to huge scars to show how the magic need to do everything possible to keep are all star player by getting talent and if it aint broken dont mess with it. Rob has to put a end to all this and Alex know your role and sit the sideline one time and shut it!!! Love my magic for life...sad sad magic fan

Compared to what the Magic got for Shaquille , this is not THAT bad. Better than nothing and much less distraction. Maybe a strong TEAM attitude will prevail. I now have a underdog to cheer for.
I am glad for the departure and hopeful that the Magic are competitive . I am actually looking forward to seeing the NEW Magic. Even optimistic that they are as good as they would have been with
    just one All Star.
Even if they kept Dwight, the Magic would NOT have been able to dethrone the Heat or any of the top NBA teams without a couple of ALL STARS added to the roster. Funny how top NBA players want to play together and win a ring. Too bad the Magic always are on the wrong end of these desires. Guess everyone doesn't want to go to Disney World.

The only bigger losers than Orlando here are the two Texas teams. Dallas for letting Tyson Chandeler walk thinking they had Dwight. Houston for not getting Gasol last year in the nixed Paul trade and then blowing up their entire roster for a Dwight pursuit. Orlando knew Howard was gone, but Dallas and Houston set their teams back in the competitive West in their Dwight pursuits.

The nba is turning more in to the mlb everyday. Which is really sad for all the non big market teams!
