In a time when Billy Kenoi's term was marked by worldwide recession, he has professionally balanced the County of Hawaii's budget and brought down unemployment. Enough said!!!

Voting for Harry Kim. I love and respect his campaign style. In all fairness there was a tremendous amount of growth, however a shortness in finances. Mr Kenoi brags about having cabinets in each district and the management style is proven effective. That maybe, however we are paying for many to just warm seats.
Operational budgets should be cut and maintained!!! So many state officials getting paid but doing nothing.
Take the civic center for an example. County moved from one place to a temporarily lease in the building near Kuakini Towers and then moved to the civic center. Was all the moves necessary? Who pays for it?
All those funds should have been used for geothermal energy and or higher education.

Harry Kim is a nice man, but we can't afford to go back to taking the County budget and over sizing it on the backs of property tax payers. Mayor Kenoi is the right man for the job because he has proven he can make the hard decisions during rough times, and he has done more with less.
