No doubt JOHNNY V. We once talked about his back to back no-hitters. He laughingly said the second game was the first night game. Luckily he wrote me a letter stating just that. And he signed several autographs. He was a class act and from a different era of baseball. Cornbread and Buttermilk baseball players. No manager would attempt to start the same pitcher as done with Johnny.

I would so love to have seen in person many of these guys and never had the chance to. I love Tom Seaver and never saw him pitch in person but plenty of times on tv. However I voted for Noodles Hahn. Would love to have seen him toss a game or Ewell Blackwell, Paul Derringer and sentimentally Joe Nuxhall.
