We shouldn't have to pay in order to recycle products. If it wasn't for that I would vote for curbside, however, since drop off bins don't cost people anything then that works out much better for people in general, meaning for both those who can and can't afford to pay the extra money a month.

I think it doesn't matter what we vote for or say.The parish will do what they want to anyway. I pay way too much for my water and sewage right now. I feel I am being over charged. But how can I prove that? So I feel if I want to recycle, I should just bring it to the bin or there should be a third option. when you reach a certain amount of recycled things, call the parish and have them pick it up for free.

I'd much rather pay $2.50 a month, than $3.84 a gallon, to bring my recycling to the parish site, which I do now. Thank you for pursuing this. You will be saving me time and gas $$.

I know for a fact that once these items are collected, they are redeemed for CASH. Why should we pay for curb side when the parish will collect money for the items. We pay enough for parish services as is.

We are paying too much for our garbage, sewerage and water right now.
Everything is going up.Gas,Food housing.
Wages are staying the saME AND IF YOU GET A RAISE IT IS ONLY ENOUGH TO GET BY.
WE DO NOT NEED ANY MORE ADDED TO OUR EXPENSES.
I DO NOT SUPPORT CURBSIDE RECYCLING.
Bringing items to designated areas in the parish for FREE sounds good to me.
I have been living here in Carrollwood Subdivision for over 32 years and have not paid for anything the parish picks up at curbside.LET'S KEEP IT FREE.

I am so glad to see this is being reviewed. I specifically voted for curbside, but would welcome and support any recycle program. Good luck and thank you!
