So, what kind of gear distribution do you like in your MMOFPSs?
Standard leveling to unlock upgraded gear.
Leveling is ok, but some upgrades should require challenges (like 500 headshots for a new sniper rifle).
Random gear should be given out at the end of matches to help equalize distribution. (kinda like mmorpgs)
Gear should be crafted, maybe with random effects and materials are given ingame like via wins or kills.
Maybe something like wow arenas where it's seasonal and you need ratings for better gear.
All gear should be the same and available to everyone. The only thing winning gets is cosmetic or title upgrades.
