Luongo is a choker. He has outlived his usefulness. Get rid of him now or lose again.

Its been time for Lou to go for two seasons, he is a hot and cold goalie. Schneider is a far more stable guy to have in net. As for the coach, he just kept betting on a losing horse, I don't blame him at all especially when management tells him to run with the so called number one... I hope Lou goes to Toronto so I can laugh at them even more! Go Canucks Go!

I read all the comments and all have value. When the series versus boston played Luongo let a goal close to every 7 shots on net.cant win that way.Granted he is great in the regular season but he lacks confidence come the playoffs.Vancouver does need there defence kicking more butt and they need more scoring from other playoffs they have the best potential of any team. The coach needs bigger balls and quit letting a big game go by without making any major decisions...For value I think Scneider is your best bet .Lets go Canucks

Shnieds is untested in full seasons and playoffs. your insane if you think luongo is the problem with the canucks. if the the front line could actually score a goal!!!!!!!!!! (kesler, or the twins among others) we would have had 2 stanley cups in hand right now. you have to score goals to win stanley cups not just prevent goals. you should all bend over and kiss roberto's feet and beg for forgiveness for doubting him. I'll bet we don't make the play offs this year if shnieds is in net! what? do you want Cloutier Back!!!
I am a canucks fan, but with fans like us who needs enemies. pathetic.

    Luongo is the best

Obviously Cory Schneider is the better option. First of all look at the contracts, Cory has a smaller cap hit with a realistic number of years left. Secondly and more importantly his play is FAR better than Luongo. He is faster, more agile and has the ability to make the 2nd and 3rd saves after a rebound which is nearly impossible for Luo who is normally flat on his face at that point. The so-called "debate" to me is a complete joke and the ONLY answer is a goalie who averaged a half goal less per game in the regular season last year and that is Cory Schneider.

If the team can afford to keep both Schneider and Luongo then they should really consider it. Competition at the position makes them both hungry to play their best. Schneider won one game in the playoffs and I don't think that make him superior to Luongo, but deserving of more opportunity to play. If the coach can balance their time and come up with the same seasonal results as the past two years I think he will have more confident and fresher goalkeepers for the playoffs.

All that being said maybe the coach should serious look at the guys in front of Schneider and Luongo. The coach needs the D to keep the puck wide in their own zone and through the middle in the offensive zone, we seem to do the opposite in the playoffs.

I have been a Canuck fan since they first dawned their jerseys and I always will be. Hopefully it will be our time soon.

i really wish people would get over the luongo riding,he didn't lose the cup to boston, was he supposed to score 5 goals? Honestly canuck fans, did you all watch the same game as i did? I watched the pathetic means of a coach,2 years in a row now,let players play injured, and deny that there even were any injuries,i feel the problem is the coach, show some back bone vingeault, kesler is not the only horse on the team, show some confidence in your depth,if a player is injured, sit him out,he'll have a new drive for the cup the following season, and the depth of your team would gain confidence in themselves,no more one trick ponies please, stop riding one guy!!!!!!!!!roberto, keep up the good work,i appreciate you!!!

Play them both equally for one season. Give Luongo one last chance to win a cup in Vancouver along with more rest being played less, and see if Schneider can handle the extra work load. I think it would be best if both of them where here to win the cup.

    I support both of them.
