Would you consider a prepaid Android?

I've been doing prepaid for years after seeing how much money I was wasting on unnecessary minute plans, and features. I have an android on prepaid since earlier this year with t-mobile and I'm enjoying my unlimited* internet for $30 a month.

Here is a helpful tip: You don't need to get the prepaid versions of the t-mobile phones, but you do need to buy and use the prepaid sim card to get it to work. The downside of course is paying full price on the phone, but if you are good at taking care of your phones it may not be a bad deal in the long run for some.

*Unlimited but throttled after 5gb's of data a month, which works great for me! :D

I would always recommend prepaid vs. a long year plan. Prices change. Plans stay. This is my personal interpratation of freedom. With mobile connections being a commodity there is no real differentiator other than price.

This is the reason i would always chose a GSM device compared to the metal collar a Sprint or Verizon CDMA deivce represents..

I have had service from At&T, Verizon, Metro PC'S, Cricket, & TRACK PHONE.
The service (for me any way) has been the same, NO matter) who was my carrier.
    I am currently with
Metro PCS, & have been for the last 2yrs. I have 3 phones & I pay the same amount my brother pays for 1 phone, with At&T.
(You just can't beat, unlimited everything.)

I just bought an LG optimus from Virgin Mobile. You can't beat the price for unlimited data and texting. You can get the phone on a payment plan from HSN or QVC which suits my budget just fine.

I have always had a prepaid phone. I now have the Prevail & am getting the S2 when Boost releases it next month. screw Verizon and AT&T. To much $$$

the post paid part is hurting my wallet. i love the data but 1400 minutes isnt necessary anymore. switching soon to a more stable monthly payment plan.
