I know Terrell Owens has a lot of play left in him. Even when he started his rookie year he was off to a slow start and but as he had more playing time and played harder. He became the starter that he is. So I think if a team like Seattle who known for there Wide receiver issues the team should pick him up off free agents again next year to to help Seattle become a stronger offensive weapon. With a lot of work to make up I say Terrell Owens still has game left in him.

T.O. Is a person who came from a life of hardship but through determination he made a great life for himself. I admire him for staying focus through all the tough times with his father. He was built for the NFL. I think he should still be playing the game but be EXTREMLY mindful of his actions on and off the field. Keep god & your children first & you will be okay.

T.O. still has gas in his tank. He only needs to be given another chance with the right team in the right system. At Dallas Owens scored 38 touchdowns in 3 years (3 years ago). With Buffaloe he managed more than 800 yards receiving, in Cincinnati 983. In the last 3 years he has averaged 14 yards per catch. Ask most people who played with him they will say he is an excellent team mate. Owens has been out of Football for one year. He was never accused of quiting or taking plays off. Randy Moss has been out of Football for one year, can we say the same of him yet he is given a second chance. GIVE T.O. a chance!

T.O. Just plain & simple has burned too many bridges. He prolly is in better shape than 95% of the league. Just between his mouth and his antics throughout the years is too much for any G.M. to take a shot and gamble... He and his sharpie will no doubt be in canton one day. He prolly still can play. He still may get a ring but that ring may be to the table for dinner. Good luck T.O. go out the opposite way u were in the league...... with dignity and class!!!!

His ego got in the way. In this era of salary caps and owners cutting back on player salaries, his over-inflated (paycheck, ego, greed) got the better of him.

    Q. How many passes did he catch pre-season?

    A. Two.

I think this is good for T.O. maybe it will calm him down, He's a damn good reciever and he's still got some life left in him he needs to just bucl;e down and practice harder, Maybe talk to Jerry Rice talk to him how he practiced T.O. can do this I think he needs to prove to himself he's still got it

I think his career is over, but not because he isn't a great player anymore. It's solely based upon his past of being a hot head and the fact that he drops a lot of easy (for NFL Receivers standards, that is) passes. Yes, he does have a problem with making catches that most second and third string receivers could catch, but no one could do with the ball what he did once he finally caught it! lol

All in all, I don't think anyone will want to pick the guy up. Sad because I think in the right system, he could still be a major threat.

Too dynamic of a player to sleep on....sad how people use your past to slander your future....had no problems in cinci or buffalo but critics wont let mishaps prior to these die....for the bible says judge not lest ye be judged....i'm still with you man! And GOD WILL NEVER LEAVE U OR FORSAKE U.....STAY FOCUSED! A breakthrough is coming as long as you keep your spirit aligned positively! Wish you still had the star on your helmet....romo hasnt been the same without u.....GOD BLESS U!

T.O. has what it takes to play the game..each case is different and individual when recovering from surgery...those that can and those that can't... He will prove y'all wrong ..he'll get the opportunity

I think he still got what it takes. Aging Andre Johnson needs a veteren on the other side. If the Texans goahead and pick T.O. up that could bring the rest of the fire out of Matt...Superbowl run and possibly win!!! Now that should be some good sports radio talk!!

Some of these teams would be an idiot NOT to give T O a chance, they say he can get separation and the D bs are praying he drops the pass, remember he was out of football over a year

T.O. s career is an object lesson about how to conduct yourself in this game. More than any other professional sport, football is about teamwork. No matter how stellar your skills, it's what you bring to your team and the level to which you can do what's best for the team that determines the length of your career.

I don't think his career is over, but I doubt he gets picked up in pre-season. I think he gets picked up 4-5 games into the season as a 3rd or 4th receiver based on injuries or poor performance of other WRs

Loud mouth head case from day one. Perfect example for young players on everything NOT to do

  • charles b - 12 years ago

    Let's just pray for him

  • Dean B. - 12 years ago

Good riddens. Let's not forget he also led the league in dropped passes. We don't need single minded players in NFL, we need players that understand the meaning of teamwork.

  • Devon - 12 years ago

A few teams could use him, but his options are limited. He cannot go to a team with a young or weak quartback, because T.O. would just get into the QB's head. He has caused problems in many lockerrooms. Maybe now it gets it, but it might be too late for someone to take a chance on him.

I agree that Terrel will end up on the east coast someplace and my guess is with the Jets. God only knows they need him badly.

  • Rob W - 12 years ago

If Al Davis was still with us, he'd pick him up in a heart beat! The Raiders are great for picking up great individual players. Unfortunately, they don't always gel together as a team.

Sorry to see someone with his talent fall by the way-side. Let's just hope he can straighten himself out and teach his lessons learned to a new generation.

  • Abe - 12 years ago

I think TO problems is not in his football talent He is a game breaker receiver. If he can fix his ego head and shut his mouth he will be a great addition to so many teams in the league,

  • shawn c - 12 years ago

No he is still a great wide out who is still pretty good. There are teams out there who need him on the field yesterday. He will be on the east coast sometime this season watch and see what i say

  • Charles E. - 12 years ago

MIAMI, MIAMI, MIAMI,MIAMI! Those guys could use T.O RIGHT NOW! He has proved he has changed and they need a veteran receiver that can lead! Miami call this MAN RIGHT NOW! He is exactly what you need. Less money more experience. No he might not give you all that he use to but he is still a threat going deep and in the red zone! T.O just needs time.

    I still believe T.O!

  • James R. - 12 years ago

As much as I think he is NOT done, I think many Teams in the league are willing to go with guys whom are unproven and have less experience rather than try T.O. I think if he can get on with another Team, he will be an impact player this year and maybe next season!

    Good Luck T.O.
