There is drama in every 1 life they say a woman get's hit every 2 min in this country. It may be a sad thing to say but i don't know a woman who has not been hit. From my mother the PA, to my aunt's register nurses, my daughters all 3 2 have MA the other her BA have been hit me by my first & 2nd husband who i have been married 2 for the past 25 years. I have not been hit by my husband in well over 15 years and over the past 25 years i have been hit about 10 times. Some Hurt Others were more like grab your throat throw against the wall type of shit. All in all he is a good god fearing man{something he pick up 15 years ago}and right about now with the kids grown he works hard to make me smile we lead a good life. I think had i left him the first time he slap me i would not be so happy now. I a not stupid I left first husband bcuz he enjoyed breaking bones. Oh forgot to mention he married me with 4 kids and helped put them through college. So for me it's a hard call my daddy hit my mother but this is the same man who took his daughters to Paris when they truned 16 and he never layed his hands on me & my sisters

Yes, its a form of therapy ...these are real life everyday situations...dont trip on the fact that these few couples were chosen to air there shit on TV.. We all go threw some kinda drama even in good relationships...the fact still remains the same...DIG DEEP BEFORE YOU JUMP into a relationship..know who your dealing with, know about there family etc...there history..cause if being abusive is all they know or seen...why you think you gonna change the equation? so dont complain if your the victim...you seen the signs....thats the problem women need to raise the bar stop settling for less....I respect Mi Mi and Erika on the show..they have demonstrated class on the show...even though Erika had a fight...in which she had to defend herself as i would have done the same...the other ladies are some disrespectful , money hungry bitches...especially Rasheeda she betrayed he husband on national TV..and the funny thing is that the hubby is good now ..Most definitely i would never consider a man like that a MAN...he dont have shit to say lol what a bitchcake ass nigga...
K ..Michelle seems to be sincere...niggas lie all day long..i hope for the sake of K michelle moving on she is telling the truth..and if Memphis did do this, its evident he is not doing it now with his new wife..and thats good. so maybe he has changed.. K michelle needs to move on...you can continue to tell your story without running another mans name in the mud...
And lil Scrappy needs to tell buckey the vampire to kick rocks...trick time is up....do whats right...
BUCKEY UGH , UGLY, BUCK TEETH, SHE USES 10 bags of hair to cover that big ass head....that girl needs plastic surgery from head to toe.......

No, I don't think so. Unfortunately this type of behavior between Stevie J, Mimi, & Joselyn exist throughout our communities as well as other communities. It is about time we take a closer look at the dysfunction that goes on in Black relationships, at the hand of all parties involved. I believe the show put a spotlight on this dysfunction like never before and it has the young as well as the old involved in dialogue that needs to take place (I've witnessed and participated in the dialogue; its a good thing). Sometimes when a light is placed on a situation it allows people to really look at it for what its worth; which causes people to take inventory of their own lives, because they recognize that woman or man as themselves.

Stevie J, Mimi, and Joselyn are not the blue print for Black men and women, nor is any other reality show. Who cares if some people believe this is how all black men and women are; if you believe that then it might be something wrong with your thought process. Caucasian's make ridiculous movies and TV shows all the time, its a form of entertainment, but that doesn't cause me to look at all White people in a certain way, because I know better. Many people are wounded and they carry that with them into their adult life...the saying, "hurt people hurt other people" is usually true. If many weren't afraid to deal with the pain that followed them from childhood, and knew how to work through those wounded hearts we'd have a better world, that's just my belief . I think people should stop being so judge mental, and find a way to help others to work through their pain.

The problem isn't reality TV...it's stories like this which try to define and analyze these shows. IT'S ENTERTAINMENT people. These shows are not a road map on how to have, build or maintain a joyous, healthy and successful relationship nor is it a blueprint of how a male or female should act or react if they happen to find themselves in similar situations in life.
