What is your opinion on the Assault Pre-Workout supplement?

    I am 34 years old and I have been using muscle pharm's assault for about 3 years now.
    I dont always use it before I workout, as i feel that supplementation is what it is, supplement. I only take it when I dont feel in the mood to workout. I normally eat healthy and sleep right, but sometimes life catches up with you and there are those days you dont feel like doing a damn thing, thats when i supplement with assault. Among all other pre-workouts Ive tried Assault is the best tasting, I do feel the tingly feeling but i guess that how you know it's working....All in all I agree with you to always get your source of nutrition through whole foods and what not, but there are times when supplementing is needed...

    I am 48 years old and started using pharm assault 4 months ago and I must say my exercise performance is so much better (I weight train, HIIT and endurance training 4-5 times a week 30 mins-1 hr a time). I've also recently started, only because time is not always on my side to plan my meals properly, started using Met RX meal replacement, just for breakfast post exercise. I get up way too early to eat breakfast before exercising and I've had comments about the way I look, leaner. I do eat healthily throughout the day and only replace one meal 4-5 times a week (exercise days). I think if you do not rely on these things to make you feel better, but take a holistic approach to their use and do your research I think they can be fine. This is the first time ever I've decided to use supplements and have been an avid exerciser for years. I love your articles!
