Statistically, Romo is a better Quarterback. For those of you saying Eli's better because of his super bowl rings, thats because of the team, not just the QB. Although Romo struggles in those important games, if they actually had a line to protect him he would have few mistakes. If you were to watch most Dallas games, you would see that most of his picks (which he has very few of) happened in a situation where he had little time to even set his feet.

The comments about the team are misguided for the following reasons:
1. The Giants came back in fourth quarter after fourth quarter via Eli's passing, not the running game.
2. It doesn't/didn't matter who the receivers are/were, Eli will hit them. For example, who ever heard of Barden before Thursday night? This time last year nobody ever heard of Victor Cruz either. Steve Smith left after the 2007/2008 SuperBowl. Who cares?
3. Eli is not a ball control, game manager, counting on his defense to bail him out.
4. Eli was the Superbowl MVP for both Superbowl wins, winning both times at the end of the game via incredible passes.

When it comes down to the games that matter, Eli comes through. Yes Tony is a good qb. But, can he win when it counts the most? History has shown no. But all this is just my opinion. And everybody is entitled to theirs. A qb cannot be successful without his team, regardless of stats. If ur receivers and backs can't catch or hang onto the ball, then it does not matter who takes the hike of the ball.

Are we comparing the QB's, or the teams? All of you who keep saying Super Bowl Rings matter, are comparing the teams. In which case I agree with you: the Giants have been better than the Cowboys recently.
But the article is titled: which QB is better. That means you have to simply compare the players, using individual stats. Nobody in his right mind would argue that Eli is better than Romo based on individual stats. The only thing Eli is better than Romo at is throwing interceptions.
Fortunately the entire world saw this play out last night. Romo played like he always does; and Eli looked like a chump. The difference in this game was, the rest of the Cowboys actually played a full 60 minutes. It's amazing what happens when you do that.

Tony Romo is awful. He chokes under pressure (unlike eli) and cant win a playoff game for his life. Romo has ZERO super bowl rings and eli has 2.
