Who is more likely to make it to the Super Bowl, the Cowboys or Giants?

Wow this is too funny! I love reading this 2 weeks later... How bout them cowboys now?! Lol! Bottom line is they can play good till the season's on the line and the G-Men are the complete opposite. They pave a tough road for themselves and then pull it out in the end. When will you cowboy fans realize Romo is not the answer?

Giants played average, Cowboys played lights out. Giants did not take advantage of opportunities, Cowboys did. All things remaining equal with a healthier secondary on the Giants side, they are still a better team. The margin is tight though and things never remain equal in football. I like both teams chances actually. It's not always the better team but the team that plays better and has the ball bounce its way. This is coming from a Giant fan who knows about the ball bouncing their way and getting hot at the right time. Way too early to make predictions such as this. GO G-Men.

Giants always come on later in the season. They still have the best front 7. However, I think Dallas has improved its defense. The question is whether their offensive line can continue to improve too. All things equal between the lines of the two teams, I would have to give Dallas the edge....but are they really approaching equal? Tony can do as good a job as Eli, if not better, provided he is not running for his life......

I hope you all like to eat CROW. One damn game and they are on their way to Super Bowl, no way.

    Watch, they will blow it.

The Boy"s will be better this year. The opening win will propel them to become even more united. The o-line will become progressively better as the season goes on , and Romo will finally become the premier quarterback he has yearned to be.The win over the Giants is a prelude of the rest of the season, with their studded key positions now intact, look out!! they have been given a shot of testosterone, given that they can stay healthy it's time for them to get back to prominence, they will be the team to beat ,they have a chip on their shoulders and they will dare teams to knock it off.

The cowboys have a better chance going to superbowl because finally they have a secondary and O_line to depend on. Go cowboys!!!!!

Finally the Dallas Defense is improving. A lot of improvement is needed in the Dallas offensive line. Tony Romo played a lousy first quarter but so did Eli. Tony stepped up in the second half and really showed what he can do, if not for his above average play Dallas would have lost. Are the Cowboys Superbowl bound? Keep your fingers crossed, keep an eye on the defense and offensive line and pray Tony does not get hurt.

I am basing it on recent history. I am an Eagles fan. I know what it means to have a Ryan on your coaching staff. Some how he will screw it up.

Cowboys did a terrific job last night. Their defense was great. The players really stepped up in this game.

I agree, Dallas lost several games last year that they should have (and easily could have) won.
The penalties definitely have to get cleaned up; but what we saw last night was a true indicator of where these two teams really are. Dallas is simply better; Romo has been better than Eli since Romo took over 6 years ago, but he has never had the consistent performance from his supporting cast and his defense. Hopefully this year will be different.

I have watched the Cowboys play in NFL since the 60's. The game that they played against the Giants, defending world champions last night was the best they have played in the last 10-12 years.

Thomas you are right on, lets not also forget that the Cowboys lost at least 4 games last year that they should have won if their secondary wasn't as bad as they were. If they had won 2 of those 4 we would not even be talking about the Giants at all. Go Cowboys america's team!!

cruz was flat and dropped too many...eli missed a sure TD..and Gilbride had horriffic plat calling after the Boley int...Romo and Eli have always had success against each other...the cowboys just showed up and the Giants didn't

The Cowboys soul searched in the offseason and reached deeply into the cash pockets to address their ills.
They spent the off season studying their opponents and what it might take to beat them.

The Giants had a great 11 season ending. It doesn't get better for a franchise than what happened to them, and because of their system, they deserve credit.
But they looked like they spent the off season celebrating, which is understandable, and they were still celebrating when the 12 season started.
But in the NFL, it's about "Just Win" today baby.

    How bout them Cowboys!!!

the cowboys defense is much approved, especially in the secondary. That's where the Giants had all their success last year against the cowboys.
