i know this might be a little late, but i had it in an email for some reason,,,, i only eat granulated garlic on frozen type pizzas, but if you are ordering pizza from a place that you need to season it when you get it, i think you need to find another pizza joint!

Awww man. Memories...Coming from NY this is the first "go to" condiment for any plain pizza slice (cheese pizza) followed by red pepper flakes. If you haven't had garlic powder on your slice then you haven't lived yet. But of course that is for a NY pizza. If I'm eating a classic Neapolitan Margherita Pizza I wouldn't dare add a thing to it! :) Just my opinion...aren't we all entitled to one :)

Must be a regional thing - I've never seen it offered. I probably wouldn't use it if it was; granulated garlic and garlic powder have distinctive flavors that are rarely applicable to food. It also leaves an unpleasant taste in the mouth for hours after eating it. As the comment stated above, it can be used well in a dry rub, and sometimes on some quick American-style garlic toast, but I really can't think of any other uses off the top of my head.....

I don't really consider dried garlic powder a "quality" pizza topping. It's fine cooked into food, like a chili or as part of a dry rub. But on top of a slice after cooking? Nope, not going to happen.
