Would not touch either BEHEMOTH, out of date monstrosities, with a 12 METRE ( forty foot in IMPERIAL or giggle "United States" measurement system ) barge pole.

Both of these top-selling vehicles need A LOT BETTER MILEAGE before I would look to one.
VIA Motors' VTRUX show us how these sized pickup trucks can achieve amazing mileage using basically GM's Voltec drivetrain. Economies of scale at the level this type of truck posts would make a GM Voltec truck a grand slam homerun and I'd have one in my garage, replacing my Toyota.
Soon-to-be-in-USA Colorado is a bit compelling, but again, these days 20 MPG COMBINED is NOT GOING TO HACK IT. I want to be foreign oil independent - and I think it's an absolute must for this economy to grow and for jobs to blossom. Here where I live, today unleaded gas is just at $4.00/gal.

The GMC, if for no other reason than that it looks better than the Chevy, especially on the front end.
I take an F-150 anyday!
