Is the iOS 6 Maps controversy a black eye for Apple?

Have you used the new Maps app? Of course it is.

Not yet, but Apple needs to fix this quickly or it will be.

I've used the app, and it works fine for me.

I'm sticking with Google Maps in Safari.

I don't use iOS 6, so it's not an issue.
