Since Jones has hassled and bullied the PM endlessly over various comments she's made, it's only fair that he be subjected to same amount of harshness. The fact that he's trying to paint himself as a victim only proves that there is no end to the depths of maggotty sewage he will sink to.

Alan Jones is a disgusting slug that should of been stepped on long ago.
A person who is capable of as much vile and misogynistic comment as he, should not be permitted any honour.
He most definitely should be stripped of his Order of Australia and not be allowed to influence either present or future politicians.

One rule for labor Politicians and another for the rest of us. This has now become a weapon for the Labor Party and Unions to hide the mess this present labor Government has landed on the Australian people. It appears that it is anything goes, but fortunately not all of us are union or labor tools.

Alan Jones continuing to hold the OoA demeans those people who also hold this recognition of their contribution to Australia and who can be held as examples of true Australian values. Ideally he will surrender it voluntarily but that is unlikely given his self serving nature and lack of common decency. He should certainly be counseled to refer to Ms Julia Gillard as the 'Prime Minister ' in any future radio commentary. His continued use of only her first name followed by derogatory comment is shameful and diminishes the office of Prime Minister.

I can only agree with the majority of the general public who are completely outraged with Alan Jones, firstly with his diatribe at the LNP dinner. What he said about our PM was totally out of order. Secondly, to try and justify what he said after a paltry and half-hearted apology on TV (for 50 mins) is an insult to the intelligence of most caring and fair minded people.
Alan Jones should be stripped of his Order of Australia. He is not fit to hold this honor.

As a proud Australian I support this poll to strip Alan Jones of his Order of Australia award. He has consistently shown a gross lack of any qualities of honour or decency that should be a prime objective of a holder of this award.
He has shown a continued lack of respect in the media for the high office of Prime Minister of this great country. All this to push his political agenda. When we pass on from this life the only item you can take with you is your own honour and respect. Without that you have absolutely nothing.
Alan Jones has shown his lack of honour and respect. Australia must strip his Order of Australia to regain the honour of our country. His so called apology was insincere and washed out and I am glad that our Prime Minister Julia Gillard did not meet with Alan Jones.

As an old WWII airman I heartily agree with the sentiments. Alan Jones should be stripped of this honour.
