Yes Harper should ban this company from competing, but he won't as he has made a deal with China behind closed doors, with no Parliamentary debate or vote on the Canada-China Investment Treaty that comes into affect November 1st. After that date, all Chinese companies will be given the same right as Canadian companies when it comes to bidding on access to our resources and sectors. don't know about this? Then ask your government, as they deem it necessary to keep this from the Canadian people.

ABSOLUTELY BAN THE CHINESE & ALL THE FORIENGERS OWNING OUR NATURAL RESOURSES! We need to stop the import of Chinese goods as well. They are cheaply made and parts are made of the cheapest materials. It is time that we employ Canadians to manufacture our goods. It is also time we nationalized our natural resources. We give away our roads, water, bridges, oil, gas & hydro enough is enough...

From this survey, the Harper government should take any negotiations with the Chinese very seriously and say thanks, but no thanks. First, let's separate the peope from the government of China. The government of China can not be trusted at all. They have sucked in billions of dollars of greedy corporations to build cheap cloths, electronics, automobile parts and etc... and sell them into Canada and other western countries at Western prices. From this investment, they have caught up on our technology, which is what they wanted. Second, they said no to Syria for us to help the people. Why they do not want us to be involved in the national interest of Syrians? Is the west gets involved in Syria, we have the mandate to be involved in Chinese and North Korean human rights issues . Remember, North Korea is their buddy. Which is a very serious matter. I find it funny that we still consider Chinese government to be Communist, they are FACISTS. When government get involved in mixing socialism and capitalism, it is FACISM. Remember the 20's and 30's. Very similar.
They are what is driving unemployment up, I mean the real unemployment numbers. Not even Mexico or Southern American countries can compete with manufacturing goods in China. They have very little regulations and environmental control.
Stop thinking they do not mean any harm to us. They are centered to their own self interest. They do not care about our values, they want to erode our standard of living, like a frog in warm water. It will be too late to get out.

For the love of God people , WAKE-UP !! Yesss Ban It ...it's absolutley insane to do otherwise.
It's not bad enough that we have huge populations of immigrants amung us ... who wil they fight beside when war errupts??
And furthermore Canadians need the jobs.. bring it on home .

Not only ban the network gear product but ALL poison stuffs from china. All they do is steal and cheat. Who needs things made in china. BAN them all. Totally agree with abagary1, say no to nexen too.

The concern of all responding with 'yes' to this poll is not related to the fact that the 'danger' is associated with China. No other national entity should be involved in sensitive telecommunications in Canada! The scary part is that the government defends the association and all citizens with an IQ above 20 knows that, like a pipeline that will eventually rupture, sharing our information with an outside (and hostile) country will lead to a security crisis at some point. No question!! I would not allow a stranger to take over the care of my child. Why would I want a foreign entity to take over my life?
