He has been to jail for 2 years, humiliated in the public eye, and for a very serious event. I love animals too, but do you all really think he will fight a dog that is going to be watched by the media, and public eye forever? It's easy for a person from a decent neighborhood to say this is up there with manslaughter.

Remember, you never were taught how to love an animal, just use animals for profit. Don't be ignorant, he did a bad thing, but he did his time, probation, and is a spokesman for the HSUS. He is doing all he can to help, even if it's just an act, we all would do the same. He didn'rt want to use his environment as an excuse, but what else is there? Put him in the suburbs, you have a well raised young business man. Put him in the hood, and you got an all star QB and a dog fighter. Everyone is a product of their environment, period!

and for those who believe he has "paid his debt completely" are wrong. Tell that to all the dogs that have been killed because of his conscious actions. he was fully aware of what he was doing...he is only sorry because he got caught...if he didnt he would still be doing those hurtful things...along with any other animal abuser.

He should never be allowed to own a dog. He did terrible things to the most loving of breeds. I don't care if he says he's changed or if he's trying to right his wrongs (which i believe is to just make himself look better). He should still be in jail.

Leave Michael Vick alone. He has every right to have a dog for his children. He paid his debt and a lot of others. People have been cock fighting and killing animals all their lives. He know he did something wrong and did what he thought was acceptable as a child. He know better now and is man enough to apoloize for his actions.

Absolutely not should he ever be aloud to own any kind of animal. There is not enough justice for animals. No matter how much time he served is not severe enough. Nothing will bring back the dogs he tortured/murdered. Where is the justice for the dogs? He is cruel SOB that should be tortured himself.

Michael Vick has more than paid his debt to society. There are others who have done a lot less time for the same thing. They made an example of Michael Vick because of who he is. He is not doing anything wrong now so leave him alone.
