Some fans don't see what a head-case Swisher is. Adding to his lack of post-season production, there are his at-bats against teams who had the audacity to trade him. Over-swinging, screwing himself into the ground, going for the bigger hit when a single would have done the job, his inability to hit a fly ball to get a man in from third, never running hard to first base ... the list goes on. I say good riddance. Put the effort into signing Ichiro who is so solid in the areas where Swisher is incredibly weak. The media grew tired of Swisher's disingenuousness by last post-season too.

Nick Swisher needs to come back. There is no reason why they shouldn't bring him back. Keeping fingers crossed. He is a excellent hitter and outfielder.

Swisher is a great guy and he does add possitive motivation, but you guys have to realize that even if he does go into free agency we still have Suzuki and Granderson. And all of the other powerhouses. And don't forget we can still bring him back if we need him, maybe give away one of our top farm prospects. And I voted no on this, but I would like to see him back next season with the Yanks. COME BACK SWISH!!!!1

Swisher adds some positive motivation! He's been a clutch many times this season. He's a definate key player!

There were 2 or 3 hits in game 4 by the yankees...one from Swish (a double)
There was 1 run scored by the yankees in that game....RBI from Swish...
I would say he did more than most in that game and certainly no worse than any other in the other games....Keep Nick Swisher...

how does swisher get the least love? he's a GREAT clubhouse guy, a great hitter with a strong arm, and quite honestly, his loose approach is something the buttoned-up yankees need. I can't believe most fans are so disloyal to players who have given their heart and soul to this team; its sickening

Swisher is a very postive part of the team and it is obvious that he wants to win. He seems to be a vital part of the line up although he has had some rough spots this year as well. He is an asset
